“the cottage was perfect for what we wanted, the children and dog”

Reviewed 12 Jan 2012

The cottage was perfect for what we needed and the owners really helpful and friendly.

“Hidden hideaway”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2010

The property was hidden away down a slightly scarily narrow road (though it seemed to widen with practice), so very quiet. A small place but characterful, bright and comfortable.

“Pretty village location.”

Reviewed 2 Dec 2009

I can't actually remember which month I stayed here. I liked the layout very much. It was spacious and interesting. The owner was away however and I returned one afternoon to find the cleaners there. They thought I had left. (the owner did not apologise for this intrusion.) The bedroom is below ground level so has a dampish smell, but with heaters and electric blanket I was warm enough.I liked the facilities and furnishings. I had difficulty with the door lock, but got it working with WD40. I would stay again, but find it too expensive for just the two of us.

Response from the manager Thank you for your review. We confirm that since your booking in September 2008, the property has been completely refurbished and a new central heating system installed. We continue to get excellent feedback for this delightfully restored property.
