“Perfect”

The cottage was everything we wanted and needed it to be. It is a very small cottage, but for two adults it was ideal. The log fire was lovely and cosy. The location was brilliant for walking and very easy to find.

“Llondy is a place that you can truly relax!”

This cottage was located in a quaint little Welsh village. My husband and I hiked each day and would sit with the locals in the pub each night. We read two novels each, cooked our own meals in a state of the art kitchen and relaxed.

Nice modern facilities, lovely walks all around. Pub a stones throw away. Owners were friendly and helpful. Public transport is great as bus stops just outside the pub.

So often you expect to be a little disappointed by the advertising but everything about this cottage, from the stunning surroundings to the wonderful cottage are my idea of the perfect country experience- to quote the girl friend “awwww it’s just so cute!!”

“a great relaxing stay”

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage. Lovely views and location - great welcoming pub just across the road! Betws-Y-Coed is beautiful and has everything you need. The Conwy Falls cafe is a must.

“Welsh Gem”

Service from Sykes was excellent, web site and advisors were very informative. Key collection instructions were clear and simple. Lovely little cottage in a charming village location. Small but perfectly formed with a lovely open fire. Clean and well equiped. Parking was not outside but only a 2 minute walk to the local carpark. Nice village pub with friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. We liked everything and there was nothing we didn't like.

“Quaint and Peaceful”

Right from the time of arrival the owners of this cottage were brilliant. The gentleman met us at agreed time / place and took us to the cottage to show us around and how things worked. He came back with more logs in case they were needed. Being the landlord of the pub over the road he and his wife were always on hand. The cottage itself is small and quaint, tidy and clean bedding and towels provided. We loved this quiet location but unless your keen walkers a car is recommended. It is about 4.5 miles to Betws-Y-Coed which we walked on a number of occasions but at night with no footpaths and lighting this could be a little dangerous - we always took torches out with us. Going out in the car we were well positioned for all the tourist spots, only really 20 miles away from everything. We walked up Snowdon using the Llanberis path - brilliant but a pity it was so foggy when we got to the top. Incidently if you wish to get latest forcasts speak to the landlord/landlady and they go onto the internet for you and give you a report. Only one small thing we found a little annoying was the fact that the only pub in the village did not open every night and also did not do food at all. It would have been nice to get something to eat and a drink locally without having to walk 4.5 miles or drive. Apart from that everything else was perfect - we would go there again.
