“peacefull with lovely countyside views”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2013

The old Tack Room was very clean the wine on arrival was a nice welcome. The owners where very friendly. The garden was lovely with the patio furniture a peaceful place to sit any time of the day or night. The dogs had a lovely time lots of nice walks. The Pub just up the road was with easy walking distance food was ok.

“Excellent cottage”

Brilliant location and superb cottage in the country. We visited the Great Dorset Steam Fair and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Tranquil beautiful setting”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2011

Very clean well apoointed cottage. Lovely garden, lovely of bird life visiting the owner's feeding station visble from the cottage. Good wlaks in the area and only 5minute walk from the pub which serves good ales and food. Great place for our dog and owners had thought of everything ilcuding doggie towels and poo bags! Would go again.

“Quick Break in Dorset”

Reviewed 13 May 2010

The cottage was beautiful and the birds in the garden unbelieveable and fascinating. The weather was not very kind and there was plenty of mud underfoot but we went to the Haynes Museum and the Fleet Air Arm Museum both of which were worth a trip. Every fascility that I can think of was in the cottage and a very high standard of furnishing and equipment plus wine and flowers on arrival. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage as a centre to tour Dorset
