“a comfortable stay”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2013

Excellent service and the location was perfect for the town and the amenities. The owner was a phonecall away and helped us find the property, which we struggled with a bit. confused by the fact that there were a number of properties with the same house number. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the bathroom which was small and difficult to access and the door to it ill fitting, but otherwise a very modern and comfortable cottage. Highly recommended

“Another enjoyable holiday at Craigview Cottage”

Reviewed 11 Dec 2011

A small poblem occured at the cottage and the owner, who lives a very good car ride from the cottage, came at once to rectify it. We were very impressed. This was the third time that we have stayed at Craigview and we find the cottage well appointed, warm and comfortable. It is idealy set in a very quiet cul de sac off the main street which is means that one can stroll into town without using the car. The woods and river are close by and the hills and coast (Findhorn) not far away. As we are fond of wildlife we enjoyed seeing five red squirrels within half and hour of arriving and walking to the old Spey Bridge. The abundance of wildlife is one of the pleasures of this area.We will returrn next year to Craigview.

“An enjoyable stay in comfortable and well equipped accommodation”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2011

A comfortable cottage with more facilities than we required. The use of the shed as a bicycle store was much appreciated. Convenient parking. Local facilities comfortably within walking distance. Booking with Sykes was straightforward.

“cosy”

lovely, clean and cosy cottage. nice and central but tucked away from the main street so quiet. nearly everything provided that you could need apart from towels which people should be alerted to.

“I wish I owned this house”

A great place to base a Scotish holiday at any time of year. Great place to return to after a day skiing or whatever else. So easy to find a great eatting place just down the road. I wish I owned this house

“This is a cozy, well-equipped flat at a great value!”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2011

There are only three suggestions I have: 1) Heated towel rod and better heater in the bath - it was so cold towels never came close to drying and the heater shut off mid-shower. 2) Verify with local caretaker that the reserve heater is on. Landlord said he had requested but when we arived (a day behind schedule, no less) the heater had not been turned off so the flat was very cold 3) Please put a snow shovel in the shed (we presumed a former guest may have 'borrowed' it last winter. There were, thankfully, two big push brooms to clear snow and plenty of grit (but no shovel to spread it with...) Overall, we loved it. Kitchen is very well appointed and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience

“a wonderful time”

Reviewed 18 Dec 2009

the cottage was very nice and cosy with everything you could hope for in fact better because you could if needed to do washing and get it dry in the drier which many other places do not have. the cottage was nice and clean and well looked after to a high standard.

“No problems!”

Reviewed 8 Dec 2009

The cottage had everything one needed. Clean and comfortable. Weather was not to good when we visited but the cottage was warm and cosy. The cotttage was very central for visiting various locations in that part of Scotland. On the doorstep were shops and just round the corner a lovely woodland area for walking. One of the nicest things about the location where the friendly people and brilliant scenery. Cannot think of anything we did not like.
