“A relaxing place to stay”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2013

There were only two of us, so we had plenty of room. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The neighbours are friendly and helpful. There is no difficulty with street parking. I had the best roast beef I've had in years at the Castle View, a couple of hundred yards away. There's a corner shop and a chippy at the end of the road. Take your own carrier-bag. The only fault was the feeling of insecurity when sitting out at the front of the house, facing the river. Anyone could walk in the back and you wouldn't know.

“Outstanding”

Wonderful-view, decor , the view oh and the view. Will definitely return and to echo others the chippie at the end of the road is excellent too!

“A fabulous place to stay”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2012

The cottage was much bigger than we expected, it was welcoming and well stocked with equipment and crockery. It was pet friendly which was what we were looking for. The views were stunning and it is well situated with Llandudno to one side and Conwy to the other. I am disabled so it was important that it was fairly flat to accomodate my needs. A nice pub/resturant and a local well stocked corner shop/newsagent are close by with a larger supermarket and other amenities are just a short car ride away. We enjoyed our holiday so much we have booked to go again next year.

“The View”

Reviewed 22 Sep 2011

If there is one description to define this destination it is the View. Situated in an elevated position looking across the Conway estuary, the ebb and flow of the tide against constantly changing skies and with Conway Castle and the hills beyond, this property really delivers as far as location is concerned. Five minutes from Conway itself by car and about ten to Llandudno, with supermarkets and cinemas even closer, this destination is ideal for those wanting to explore this part of North Wales, with Betws-y-Coed just over half an hour away, Snowdon similar and anglesey within an hours drive. The house is a comfortable three bed over two floors, tastefully decorated and furnished and with most all mod cons. If wi-fi, a cafetiere and a little more wardrobe space was added I would certainly suggest it being near perfect.

“A view to remember”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2011

The view from the forward aspects of this site were unforgetable with the mountains, castle and river. The house was clean and well appointed with adequate parking at the rear. We will definitely return when we come back to this area. There is no other location that equals this and we have satyed in the area many times in the last twenty or more years. The location of good restauarants, paper shop and fish and chip shop could not be bettered. The nearness of all routes to Snowdonia and anglesey and the a55 was an advantage and the bus routes were good and the trains to anywhere only a few hundred yards away.

“Unforgettable view”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2011

Loved the seaside decor, the view from the windows of the castle and marina was wonderful, the location was perfect with easy access to the beautiful Bodnant Gardens, Llandudno, and Conwy. Eating places within walking distance. We were unlucky with the weather as it rained every day but one.

“Beautiful situation!”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2011

This house has a great view and also is very conveniently situated. The house inside was clean, furnished in a modern style and had lots of tourist information. The only negatives are the on street parking and also the faint possibility that adventurous little children might clamber over the garden wall. But will definitely book again!

“Most magnificant view”

Positioned where we needed. Low bed in main bedroom difficult for person with arthritis.
