This semi detached barn conversion is located on a working farm in Coxhoe near to Durham and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.The Dairy is a stone and brick built semi detached barn conversion, set on a working beef and sheep farm on the edge of the village of Coxhoe just six 6 miles from Durham. Boasting one double bedroom and one twin room and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep four people. The rest of the accommodation includes a fitted kitchen with a dining area, a snug and a sitting room. Outside the cottage are a patio and garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue as well as plenty of off road parking. Situated close to major roads, The Dairy is an ideal base for discovering this fascinating part of the country.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x flat screen TVs with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi. Fuel & power inc. in rent, Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Travel cot & highchair. Ample off road parking. Spacious patio & garden with furniture & BBQ. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shop & pubs 10 mins walk. Note: Some traffic noise from the A1(M) is audible from the garden.
Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: The village of Coxhoe is six miles from Durham. There are pubs and shops within the village, which is in an ideal location for exploring the beauty of the north east of England, with the coast 17 miles away and the moors 23 miles away. There are lots of visitor attractions in the area, such as Durham Cathedral and Castle and Beamish Open Air Museum.
