Idyllic Coastal Holiday Home in Ireland

Enjoy a stay in this homely house and the large variety of attractions its stunning location has to offer.

Situated in a peaceful little complex this modest self catering house boasts a central front row position enjoying uninterrupted panoramic views of Clew Bay and the famous pilgrim mountain Croagh Patrick. The property is situated in Mulranny village which boasts 3 lovely pubs/restaurants (one of which is directly over the road), 2 supermarkets and a takeaway restaurant. It is next to the famous Mulranny Park Hotel and its 4* award winning restaurant (facilities incl.bike hire, pool/leisure centre & Wi-Fi). All within a 5min stroll.

There are plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy. Over the road is the path to an EU Blue flag beach. Another beach with crystal clear waters, white sands and dunes is accessible from the stunning 9 Hole coastal golf course both visible from the house. An abundance of sea birds can be viewed from the comfort of the sofa. Seals, dolphins and whales have also been sighted and local mountain goats will frequent the complex on occasion. Fishing and sailing and most activities associated with the coast are available including great surf in nearby Achill (though some will be seasonal). Lovely boat excursions available to nearby islands such as the stunning Clare Island. Impressive sights of mountain ranges and Atlantic coastal cliffs and Neolithic sites. Great walks to do in Ballycroy National Park and on the scenic Great Western Greenway cycling and walking trail spanning 40km from Achill Island to Westport. The beautiful towns of Westport and Castlebar are around 20m away. Or simply just light the open fire and look out!

The house is approved by Mulranny Tourist board on a yearly basis. We are dog friendly - your dog will love it, competitively priced and our regular visitors enjoy discount.

House rules

Please respect the neighbours - walls not that thick. Basically just do as you would do at home, i.e dogs and bikes dried before entry etc and look after the bits and pieces we leave for comfort so all can benefit. Do appreciate a tidy after yourselves on departure, our lady has not a lot of time to turn it around. Most importantly = PLEASE ENJOY!!

“Paradise Found”

Great location, walking distance to beach and village for food or drinks. Really lovely part of Ireland the scenery is beautiful and the view from the cottage is a delight to wake up to each day. The cottage has all mod cons and well equipped and very spacious. Communication with Noreen on arrival and departure was perfect. We loved our visit and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

““Paradise Found!!!!””

I stayed here in 20 Paradise Found for 8 days with my sister-in-law just last week!! We had a lovely week. Noreen was our local contact and was kind enough to let us know that the house was ready early!! Lisa also was very good in replying to a query we had. The house is a perfect location for exploring north Mayo. It is also very close to the greenway. The view from the living room is breathtaking. Beds very comfortable and everything you need is there. The fire was even set for us and as we arrived on a wet day it was very welcome. We toured Achill island, Erris head and Downpatrick head all from here it was perfect. We will be back! We also walked around Furnace lake.

“Paradise was found!!”

We have just arrived home from an absolutely wonderful holiday. The view from the house was totally gorgeous, (don’t know how we are going to cope not seeing it everyday). The location of the house was great as you were beside the beach, pubs & shop. The house was perfect for all our needs & the beds were exceptionally comfy. We will definitely be coming back.
