“Fabulous location and lovely clean cottage”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2014

This cottage is quirky, warm and very well furnished. It had all we needed and was a home from home. The walks at the back of the cottage were great for the dogs albeit we had to keep them on a lead for part of the way as there were a few steep drops. Very magical hearing and seeing the steam train puff away in the hillside at the back of the cottage. Great to have the fuel for the fire provided for all of our holiday saving us having to search around for it. Great pub serving food 5 minutes walk away which was great after a long day out.

“Peaceful.”

The shower was fine once we found out how to regulate the water. The barn was cosy. The spiral stair case would not be suitable for the very young or the infirm. Ample cutlery, glasses etc and furnishings were adequate. Well placed for touring mid/north wales.

“A very well planned property and in a great location.”

We had an excellent week in this property. We were a mixed party ranging in age between 6 to 70. The nearness of some very rewarding walks, bird-watching and the coast were all contributors to our enjoyment, not to mention the Tal-y-llyn railway and the lake itself. I have spent several holidays in this area in my youth and it hasn't lost its magic.

“totally relaxing.”

This holiday home is fabulous. Fully equipt in a peacefull setting. The owners have thought of everything even a mobile phone in case you lost signal with your own provider. ideal for the larger family or for two families to share. The local pub the railway is excellent but book early if you want to eat in the restaurante.
