A charming cottage attached to a country house in the hamlet of Meeson in Shropshire. This cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom.Housekeeper's Cottage is a lovely cottage is attached to the rear of Meeson Hall, a magnificent country house set in the rural hamlet of Meeson, thirteen miles from Ironbridge in Shropshire. This cottage sleeps two people in one king-size double bedroom. There is a shower room, along with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside, this cottage has off road parking for 1 car, a shared front courtyard garden with furniture and BBQ, private rear garden and shared use of the owner's 8 acres of gardens, paddocks and wood. Housekeeper's Cottage is a perfect holiday home for a couple who wish to visit the many attractions close by or explore the wonderful Shropshire countryside.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove and portable electric heaters. Electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Bike storage. Shared use of beautiful front courtyard garden with furniture, plus private rear garden with furniture and BBQ. Access to owners' 8-acres of gardens, paddocks and wood. Bicycles are available to hire from owner at additional cost, to be used at own risk. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2.5 miles. Note: Babes-in-arms only. Please note: a starter pack of logs will be provided upon arrival, and further logs can then be purchased.
Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
Town: Meeson is a rural hamlet set amongst lovely countryside. The Ironbridge Gorge is only thirteen miles away, which boasts the world famous bridge, plus the village of Ironbridge has shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. There are a number of attractions nearby which suit all tastes.

Lovely quiet location. Lots of caracter and history in the accommodation and main house. Perfect for a couple getting away from it all. Adrian and Mark very helpful and interesting.
