Description

This delightful, stone built, mid terrace cottage is situated in the famous village of Haworth and can sleep three people in one bedroom.Chapel View is situated in the famous village of Haworth. The cottage sleeps three people and has one double bedroom with additional sofabed, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside, the cottage has a small garden area with furniture. With plenty of Bronte history and the popular town of Skipton nearby, Chapel View is a lovely setting for a break in this beautiful area.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, Wi-Fi, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Fuel for woodburner on honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Roadside parking by the cottage on a first come, first served basis. Small front patio garden area with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs and village centre 2 mins walk.

Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Town: Home to the famous Bronte sisters, the small village of Haworth and the surrounding moorland inspired the women to put pen to paper and to write what have now become classics of English literature. With its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets, there is a wonderful period atmosphere in this charming town set against the backdrop of countryside that would eventually be made famous in âWuthering Heights'. The Worth Valley Railway is also nearby and was used in the film 'The Railway Children'. Trips around the old village of Oxenhope on the wonderful steam trains make for a special day out whilst The Bronte Parsonage museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the Museum of Rail all make equally good attractions whilst the market town of Skipton â often called the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales â is only a short drive away.
