Sun Valley Ranch 2 Bedroom Cabin Located on a private lake, a stones- throw from Rocky Mountain National Park & Colorado River! The best snowmobile & ATV access location in Grand Lake. Plus hike, mountain bike, hunt or fish, at your doorstep! Here at Sun Valley Ranch, in the midst of scenic grandeur in the heart of the Rockies, our “Bunkhouse” Cabin offers unparalleled vacation accommodations for friends and family.

The Bunkhouse Cabin offers cozy accommodations for up to 6 people. Beautiful views of the lake and the mountains from its shoreline location! It has a fully equipped kitchen & laundry w/ dining/living room w/ wood stove & 2 bedrooms & a full bath. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed w/ a dbl on bottom/single top. Sleeper sofa in the living room.

A FEW OTHER TIDBITS ABOUT OUR LOCATION TO KEEP IN MIND

*We are at the Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP), literally. Turn off of Trail Ridge Road, (the highest, continuous highway in the country reaching 12,183 ft elevation) only a few hundred yards from the tollgate into the Park and actually travel through a portion of RMNP to reach our private location!

*We are at an altitude of 8,700 feet & at the headwaters of the CO River, and, only minutes to three, large, scenic mountain lakes. One of those lakes is Grand Lake, the largest natural lake in Colorado. Recreation awaits on all three lakes!

*The neighboring Winding River Campground has trail horses for rent in summer and snowmobile rentals at On The Trail Rentals in Winter. Grand Adventures has snowmobile rentals (Polaris) in town.

*Grand Lake is known as the snowmobile capital of the country & is the only town in CO where you can ride throughout the town & to and from the trail system. There are about 120 miles of groomed trails and 300 miles of total trails.

*Snowmobile to and from the trail system.

*Our private, stocked lake does not require a fishing license.

*We are right in prime big game elk hunting territory.

*The public 18-hole Grand Lake Golf Course is 3 miles away. There are 3 other major golf courses within a 30-minute drive.

*Grand Lake Golf Course becomes the local cross-country ski touring center in winter.They have awesome groomed trails.

*Hot Sulphur Springs Resort hot springs mineral baths is only 35 minutes away.

*Marinas in Grand Lake provide an assortment of boat rentals.

*Grand Lake Village has all the conveniences you’ll need. There are food markets, ice cream parlors, boardwalk gift shops, automobile service; ATV, bicycle, kayak, & canoe rentals. You’ll find wide choice of fine restaurants & a few good bars to enjoy some night-life. Enjoy live theater w/ Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater! It’s awesome! There’s miniature golf & 4th of July Fireworks (New Years Eve fireworks, too!) over Grand Lake.

*Granby Basin Ski Area is 25 minutes away and Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski area is only 45 minutes away.

How do damage deposits work?

If Shawn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
