“I wish I could live here!”

Reviewed 4 May 2012

If you're looking for a holiday cottage by the sea, this is the place to go! With several beautiful beaches on your doorstep, including an area of special scientific interest for its abundant marine life, Dale is a picturesque and quiet little village on the south coast of Wales. My friends and I stayed here last year because we had a fieldtrip with university to the nearby fort, which is used for scientific research. We had a lovely stay! The owners were so nice and really went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The house was clean and nicely decorated, with a garden with porch out the back and sea views from the front. There's a pub, a post office and a shop very close by. The nearest town is about half an hours drive away (if memory serves). I would highly recommend staying here. I wish I could go back all the time!! The only negative is that you really need a car to get anywhere but since we were on a fieldtrip and didn't have time to go on excursions, we managed fine getting the train to the nearest town and getting a taxi from there.
