“Excellent experience all around!”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2010

We tried Tahoe Keys Resort for the first time, as opposed to getting a hotel. It was a great deal, even better than the price of a hotel, factoring in taxes, pet fees, etc. This was a very clean and comfortable unit for our family of 3, including our little dog. It was fully furnished and had everything we needed (& more!) The location was great; quiet, safe,& a very short walk to the lake and the marina. There is also access to a pool and hot tub, which we did not get a chance to use. The customer service was excellent, from inquiring about the property, reservations, checking in, questions once at the property, to checking out. They were all professional and friendly. We will definitely go through them again.

The condo was nice but we had a few issues...First we couldn't use the fireplace the first night as it wouldn't light. So we had no heating in the livingroom area. I also thought the flame could be a little higher so it looked like a fire. The same night, the roof started leaking. First in one spot and by the time we left, it was leaking in 5 different spots so we had pans and bowls all over. We had told the office about these issues immediately but they didn't offer to move us to another location or offer any discount for the hassles. And note that the resort was practically empty as it was the Wednesday after New Years and everyone had gone home. So no excuse for not offering to move us. Granted it was a great price but we had to plan it accordingly to get the good rate. Therefore, I am not sure we will go through your resort in the future or recommend it to friends considering the service received. I was rather disppointed.

“Very nice place to stay for a Tahoe getawayy”

Reviewed 28 May 2009

We rented this unit for 3 nights in late May. We loved it there. It would be perfect for one couple or a family with 2 young children for a week or even more. The house itself was cozy, about 700 square feet, it was very clean and well-appointed. The layout of the house was a little quirky (you occasionally had to push the fridge back a tiny bit so that you could open the silverware drawer) but this was not at all objectionable to us. The Tahoe Keys development was very nice for strolling around, there is essentially no traffic. There is a pier and small beach within a 5 minute walk. The people were friendly. Late check-in by the property management company worked very smoothly. We brought our dog and she had enjoyed the open spaces throughout the development. There were generally always some other dogs being walked for her to frolic with. The only problem we had, and it was very minor, was that (believe it or not) the pilot light on the furnace made a fair amount of noise all the time. It didn't bother us but if you are a very, very light sleeper it might. Considering the price, location, ease of checking in and out, and features, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

“Always a nice place to stay!”

This is a great place to stay and Tahoe Keys Resort is a great company. We've rented this condo and also rented a cabin from them. The staff is very friendly, attentive and very helpful. We've rented this condo about 3 times. It's conveniently located in Tahoe Keys with easy access to the bike trail and beaches. It's very quiet in May when we go. We haven't used the amenities within Tahoe Keys such as the health club because we are usually running, hiking or mountain biking. The best part about it is that we can bring our dogs. It's very dog friendly and we appreciate having a place to take them with us. The dogs are very happy there too. We will continue to rent this condo in the future.
