“Love this place”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2014

We were there for 2 nights and 3 days. Had no problem during check in, the house was really clean and well stocked. We have a great time and are planning to go back in March. Excellent customer service. .

“Tahoe getaway”

Paradise! We had a great time! Always coming back for the summer!

“wonderful family vacation spot”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2009

We really enjoyed our stay at the tahoe keys. Our condo was located just adjacent to the pool, beach and play area which was perfect for our three year old. The beach was fantastic....shallow and warm enough to swim in for hours (unheard of in tahoe). The parking lot was loud late into the evening and early morning hours and the beds really uncomfortable...still, we really enjoyed our stay.

“Nice location, condo could be more up to date”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2009

Condo location was nice. Close to pool and beach. Condo furnishings were a bit dark, pictures had dark themes, linoleum in bath and kitchen should really be replaced, carpet was "commercial grade" gray--like an office building in the 1970s. So honestly, I wouldn't choose this unit again, and would probably consider the Marriott Timberlodge for next time. Also, $5 per person per day to use the pool seems like we're being nickeled and dimed. Can't you just charge $5 extra per night per unit and have the pool be free? Also, just thought of another thing that would make me hesitate to stay in Tahoe Keys again. I don't enjoy spending the hour before I check out washing the dishes/loading the dishwasher and bagging my own trash. For the $75 cleaning fee, can't you pay someone to do those things? When I go on vacation I don't want to clean the kitchen and pick up all the trash.

“Very comfortable condo”

Reviewed 5 Apr 2009

This unit is not ultra-modern or luxurious, but it's very comfortable, clean, not tacky, and quiet. The living room has a nice sofa, a few comfy chairs, and a fireplace. The dining room had a nice-sized table for board games. The kitchen was not fancy, but had everything we needed. We cooked all our dinners and breakfasts there. There's parking right outside the door. The washer and dryer in the unit worked fine, as did the TV and DVD player. There were 4 of us (my wife, my 18-yr-old son, his friend, and I). It was fine for 4, but I wouldn't fit more than that. We skied during the day and hung around the condo at night, reading and playing games. The kids went out and played in the snow at night, and one afternoon I ski-toured from downtown to the condo, along the beach. Tahoe Keys has a great indoor pool, with 2 outdoor hot "spas". You pay an extra fee to use them, but they are great after skiing. They are open till around 6 or 7, and were not crowded, even over New Years. They are about a quarter-mile from the condo, so it's worth driving. I would definitely go back.
