“Wonderful!”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2013

We completely enjoyed our 4 night stay in this cabin. It was very comfortable and we loved the large living/dining area. The Jacuzzi was wonderful each evening as we relaxed from our days fun. I will rent this cabin again! Highly recommended.

“Summer Weekend--780 Gardner Lane, South lake Tahoe”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2012

We enjoyed our stay at 780 Gardner this summer. We make abn annual trip to South lake each year and ahve stayed in several rental homes in the iummedialte area. This house was by far the cleanest and most comfortable!!! The house was perfectly clean and very well maintained. Everything was in great shape. We used the grill one evening and enjoyed the deck. We especially loved the beautiful grass lawn. Typically the backyards are not as lovely. It truly made the difference! We would definitely return if there were some outdoor chairs and a table available to use on the deck for meals. (something simple is fine) The wooden bench that runs around the side is OK but not comfortable or set up for mealtime. It would have been nice to sit out and look at the stars. However, that was our only suggestion.

“Cozy Cabin in South Tahoe”

Reviewed 8 Sep 2012

The house was the right size for our family of 3 and could sleep a few more comfortably. We enjoyed the back patio during the afternoon, the open floor plan was nice and the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities to make it feel like being at home. The interior decor is themed with the snow sports and outdoor activities that surround you. Just a short drive to lots of restaurants, grocery, Starbucks, stateline casinos, etc. We arrived after midnight and the late night check-in process worked well. The street is not well lit at night, so make sure you have flashlights if you're arriving after dark. All in all, a cozy vacation house in Tahoe and good service.

“Fantastic place to stay”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2012

Loved this home! We felt as if it were our home. It was very cozy and welcoming. Especially enjoyed the fact it had a hot tub! Great location as it was located near everything. Spacious enough for 4 and we had our large dog with us. She enjoyed the large backyard. One minor issue was no aC but luckily it wasn't too hot. The ceiling and floor fans kept us cool enough. Also, having a washing machine and dryer there was so helpful as it was great knowing I didn't have to do tons of laundry when I got home!! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

“A perfect family cabin”

Reviewed 25 May 2012

We loved our stay in this cabin. It is a great home for a family with children and a dog. Great backyard access to small sledding hills for young children and nature trails. The house is fully accomodated. My family will definitely stay here again. My kids keep asking when we can go back to our Tahoe home!

“Nice and cozy getaway”

Reviewed 29 Jan 2012

Spent the Christmas of 2011 in this nice little cabin. Cabin was very cute & clean. It was only two of us and our little dog, so the space was adequate. The only problem we had, the living room windows had no drapes or blinds on them, and it opens up to the backyard which is enclosed by a see through fence. My wife felt like we would have no privacy at all, but I called the Tahoe resort office and they sent someone within an hour to put sheet over the windows and we felt a lot better after that. Overall for the price, the place was great and we had a wonderful time there.

“A Nice Time Was Had By all”

Reviewed 25 Jan 2012

This was our second year at this cabin, and we enjoyed ourselves once again. The size is a good fit for us, and the hot tub is a nice feature in particular. My only "complaint" was that there is no WiFi, and since I had to bring my lap top and some work with me (again), it was a pain to have to drive each day we were there to the rental office to jump on their WiFi to retrieve my emails and communicate with my office. I'd love it if they add that by next year, as we will probably stay there again. On a more minor note, rinsing off in the shower is a bit slow. A new, hand-held shower head would really help make that a quicker, easier process. Otherwise, the cabin had all we need, and the location is great too!

“We had a great time during a very cold, snowy winter break”

Reviewed 3 Feb 2011

We (my 12 year old daughter and an adult friend) were here Dec 29 2010 - Jan 2 2011. It was very cold with vast amounts of snow. The cabin is compact with a great furnace so we stayed warm. The bathroom had been rehabbed recently and was in great shape. Kitchen and kitchen supplies were wonderful. 2nd bedroom getting a little run down. Location was great - the owners have posted directions for getting in and out without hitting high 50 or getting stuck at the Y. There's a back way that gets you around the chain controls on 50 going west. Makes access to Sierra Tahoe ski area very easy. We were able to cross country ski out the door all the way ti Fallen Leaf Lake. What a thrill. This is a very, very nice place to stay.

“We loved this cabin!!!”

Reviewed 18 Feb 2010

This was everything we were hoping for. Everything worked, there was this great hill out back for sledding with the kids (and hiking/snowshoeing beyond), our dog enjoyed the trip very much, the accommodations were very nice, and little extras (dog biscuits, supplies in kitchen) were provided. Great location, cute little cabin, very comfortable, we want to go again! Service at office was quick and great as well. No complaints!

“A wonderful Tahoe Experience”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2009

The cottage was comfortable and perfect for families who have pets. The dogs enjoyed the backyard with the squirrels and chipmunks to chase around. The cabin was convenient to everything and well stocked with necessary supplies (except toilet paper). I do have a problem buying toilet paper - I am sorry but for the kind of money you charge per night it should be supplied. Also I felt the $75.00 for the spa for 4 nights seemed rather high also. The place was great and we had a wonderful time, but the cost is excessive because of all the extras you charge for.
