“Amazing cabin stay, high school buddies reunion”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2014

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. A reunion with friends from high school, enough beds for all, very cozy, near the lake. Wonderful hot tub, awesome big house. The decor was hilarious, right up our alley - owls, 70s, quirky Tahoe stuff. It felt like home. Carpet looked new and the place was clean. Big tables for meals/card games. We were in heaven. Thank you.

“Not what we expected for the money”

While it was less expensive than renting 3 hotel rooms, I really thought that this house was not worth the rates we paid. The location was fine, near everything but that's about the only thing it had going for it. The house as generally in okay shape and very 'rustic' - a little too much and very jam-packed with things. There wasn't a lot of room to relax. Everything was very dark (as in dark brown colored) and there was very little light. It seemed outdated and while I can appreciate the cabin-like charm they are going for, it doesn't work, it just looks old. I liked the free WiFi Internet access and the Hot Tub was really new and very nice. We paid well over $500 for 2 nights and I think that was too much.

“Decent, but dated”

“Cozy, kitschy cabin”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2009

My family enjoyed our 4 night stay. The cabin rental staff answered all our questions in a friendly manner. Checking in was easy and fast. The house is laid out nicely with a good amount of space in the rooms and kitchen. It does have quite a bit of decorations, but we felt at home and didn't have to worry about breaking precious, expensive things. The location is ideal for walking to the lake--the beach is so close and kayak/bike rentals are very convenient. You can even take a short walk to a couple of coffee shops, a minimart, and casual restaurants.

“Winter wonderland”

The house was perfect. The service was great. We ran out of propane for the BBQ and a new tank was delivered. :) I would stay at any property managed by Tahoe Keys Resort.

“spacious family home”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2009

Great location. We were a mixed group of 2 families and 2 adults so the sleeping arrangements were perfect. House was well equipped- tons of cooking stuff and a great dining table. Large lounge. Decor was dated and lots of stuffed animals and ornaments but house was clean.

“Great Cabin! Lots of space, had everything we needed!”

Reviewed 27 Mar 2009

We had a great time at this cabin! The cabin had a great feel and was super close to the lake (2 blocks)! It had anything we needed for our nightly dinners, game playing, etc.! There was 7 of us and we didn't want to leave! Definitely planning on going back next year!
