“Older cabin with very uncomfortable beds”

Reviewed 25 Jan 2012

I have been using Tahoe Keys Resort to book cabins in Tahoe for over 10 years and have always had a great experience. This particular cabin was not up to par. It was extremeley dusty, had tons of spiders, and old TV, and the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. The owner should really invest in pest control, a newer TV, and better beds. The location of this rental was very convenient. That and the layout were the two positive things about this rental property.

“So-So”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2010

Loved the location of the home - very close to Heavenly. Then carport parking was fine and there was plenty of room for two families. However, the home appears to have some serious electrical problems -- lights dimming, microwave was inoperable, stove made bizarre popping noises. Kitchen had limited items too. The service received from the rental company was not up to par - the agents do not seem to communicate with each other. For example - we called and were approved for a late check-out, then two hours later an agent called us to ask when we were leaving and had no knowledge that we had already called!

“Horrible”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2010

The rental we stayed at had multiple problems, none of which were ever corrected. The lights flickered on & off constantly and kicked the circuit breaker. The fireplace stopped working on our first day ( one of the reasons we chose this rental was for a fireplace ) the rental property called out a service tech and he couldn't repair it, then a tech from a local repair company came out and said he could repair it but needed authorization from the home owner, well after the tech told the home owner the he said to the repairman, and this is what the repair guy told us. " pack up your tools and get the hell out of there as quick as you can " so in other words in didn't want to pay for the 150.00 dollar part and needed the repair guy out as quick as possible so he didn't run up any more hourly charge, unbelievable!!! So me and my family stayed in this house with no fireplace and lights that flickered the entire time. We know this isn't Tahoe keys fault, but maybe Tahoe keys needs to evaluate who they are allowing to rent homes. This owner is despicable and his actions do reflect on how Tahoe keys runs their rental properties. We really hated the thought of putting money in this mans pocket after he left our family without a fireplace, I mean really, it was only a 150.00 dollar part?? What a shame!! The Doyle's

“Nice location”

Reviewed 31 Mar 2009

The the location is prime but the actual decor for the price was why I gave it a mediocre review. During this day an age a nicer television would be nice and perhaps better bedding would also make one's stay more pleasant. The yard was nice and the hot tub had a odd colored goo on the seat area-not at all inviting! Other than that the cabin was fine.

“Great for winter vacation!”
