“Great way to Kick of the late 2011 California Summer”

Reviewed 21 Jun 2011

To start off I had no idea what I was going to do for my best friends bachelor party. I considered getting a cabin, maybe Vegas but I came across South Lake Tahoe Keys. I called the number, the girl on the other end was very polite and helpful. I explained her my situation and she was all over it. She sent me the link right away and as soon as I opened the email, I immediately said "This is it". The reservation was smooth, the downpayment was fair, and June could'nt come soon enough. I had three guys come from Ohio, one from Florida, and 5 from California. Only 2 of us have ever been to Tahoe. Driving over the summit started it all. The clear sky, mountains and our big blue lake made all the guys excited. As soon as we stepped in the condo, it was perfect. Three of us are professional Chefs, so having a big kitchen, grill made our first meal there unforgetable. Having a pool table, two Tv's to watch the NBa playoffs and plenty of room for each of us, my best friend said I could'nt have found a more perfect place to have this. It was clean, cozzy and had great views. The Marina is a short distance away. We rented a boat for the day. We forgot a couple things so we just migrated our way through the canals to the back of our home, docked the boat, got what we needed and headed back to the lake to open up full throtle. I would come back here in a flash!! Winter, summmer, fall or spring. Im sure that there are plenty of other houses that are nice like this, but this place had suce an impression on all of us that we would definately start a tradtion to bring us back with family and friends (no pets unfortuneately) to start many memories. This place is worth it!!!

“Nice and quiet”

Nice place, quiet neighborhood. Grill needed a cleaning.

“It has been an awesome experience!”

The service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The home is spacious and cozy. The location is close to everything (i.e. grocery store, sledding, etc.)

“perfect for large groups”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2010

I go to Tahoe alot and rent homes, this might be one of the more impressive places. I was here during NYE so there was snow everywhere, unfortunatly, I was unable to utilize the boat dock for the keys. Location is nice, quiet and a short walk from a big empty field- perfect for snowball fights! The house itself is nice- 3 bedrooms are downstairs and the rest of the home (including hte master suite) are upstairs. PROS: -Great room: the majority of the upstairs is open, so its great for a large group to do "separate" things but still be in the same room. Pool table is a plus -nice fireplace -close to the grocery store -nice furniture CONS: -kitchen isn't well stocked with ingredients/cutting utensils. Though this is not a private rental, I understand they don't have little luxeries like spices or foil but it was frustrating to cook because most of their knived were extremely dull -heat: heat worked too well upstairs and horribly downstairs. thus, we were freezing when we went to sleep and cooking while hanging out upstairs. -tiny TV in great room: we spent most of our time in the great room, however, the smallest TV was in that room. There was a big LCD in the master suite and another large TV in the theater downstairs. I strongly recommend moving the TV in the master to the great room, above the fireplace - a little far from the casino strip (20 min drive) The best (though a little frustrating) part would be working with the rental property. I can't remember her name but the correspondent was extremely helpful! I called looking for a property that didn't have a 5 night min over NYE, she said she'd get my name and call me if one opened up. I highly doubted that she'd call me, but she did! On the frustrating side, once I agreed to rent, I had 3 people emailing me paperwork, agreements, or contracts. There was no point person once I agreed to rent- and emailed with questions but did not get responses. Once I brought this up- it was fixed.

“Perfect spot for a Tahoe vacation”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2009

This home has wonderful amenities, a spacious floor plan and lots of comfortable beds. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and there were plenty of linens, blankets and pillows. The kids loved the pool table and the private rooms. The master bedroom is nicely decorated. The home even has a wet bar complete with fridge and sink downstairs. The private boat dock was easy to get in and out of and we felt secure leaving our boat. It takes about 10 minutes to get through the keys and onto the lake. It's located close to everything including hiking at Emerald Bay and the casinos. The only downside is some of the door fixtures, decking, deck chairs, blinds and sofa beds are in need of upgrading. Overall we had a fantastic time in the home. We slept 8 people very comfortably. We will definitely look to rent this property again next summer. I highly recommend these accomodations.

“Great place to stay”

The house is beautiful and has a little something for everyone. The location was perfect. The only bad part of our stay was the propane was empty on the BBQ so we could not use it. Other than that it was very nice.

“Relaxing Experience!”

Reviewed 28 May 2009

This home was very easy to find with mapquest and had amazing access to everything! Very close to local stores and food. It was enough space for 4 couples to have their own rooms. The kitchen is a nice size. We brought our boat and was so easy to just walk in the backyard and hop in. The hot tub had way to much chlorine but was still relaxing. All in all it was a great experience.

“nice roomy home”
