“Old, Unclean”

Reviewed 14 Feb 2014

Pros: Convenient, quiet location Three bedrooms Sufficient kitchen Fast wireless internet Tahoe Keys management was accessible, responsive, and professional Washer and dryer Central heating Good size for one family Plenty of clean towels Dishwasher and detergent and soap were provided along with plenty of crockery and cooking tools Cons: Poor housekeeping, feces outside of toilet basin Dusty and a few cobwebs and spiders Floors need to be mopped and carpets steam cleaned; looks like someone trampled through house with dirty boots Squeeze for two families or large groups Hit head on exposed beams of sloped ceilings in upper bedrooms Upstairs bathroom is older and small; the shower is a squeeze for larger, taller people Upstairs queen bedroom mattress is hard and there was no mattress cover, just an old thin sheet Sheets had holes Older home in need of remodeling; badly fixed and older interiors walls; cracked green painting over paneled walls; uneven caulking sticks out in unexpected places Lots of places near the ceilings where dust and spiders can rest Heating system woke us up all night so we turned it off even though it was cold Odd cul-de-sac of vintage cabins surrounded by updated, newer homes Suggestions: Upgrade bedding Be more on top of housekeeping Nice to have: Remodel walls and bathrooms Clean floors, carpets, rugs, furniture Our family ski vacation was soured by the poor housekeeping.

“Warm & Cozy Cabinet”

Reviewed 30 Jun 2013

Our family spent 3 nights here with another family for ski. We were surprising by how modern and clean this cabin is - big flat screen TV, DVD player, and free Internet access. Even the thermostat is the smart digital "Nest" kind. The kitchen has toaster, dishwasher, stove, traditional oven and microwave oven with all needed dishes, utensils, pots & pans. The fridge size is very big, you can store 1 week worth of food without problem. Bathroom is modern and very clean. Upstairs is a great place for children to play. It is a warm and cozy home away from home. My favorite time was holding a cup of hot coco and watching the snow falling from the window in the sunset. Highly recommended to stay if you around the Tahoe area. I will definitely come back again for ski stay.

“A lovly house for family vacation”

Reviewed 29 May 2013

The house is closed to everything South Lake Tahoe offers. The 1.5 miles trail to the lake beach is a nice route for biking or jogging. The 2-bath is a huge plus for families with kids. The house has a modern kitchen and washer/dryer. It backs to a huge and well maintained backyard which provides a nice recreational field for kids and adults alike. The house locates in a safe neighborhood. It is a great place for weekend or holiday getaways.

“won't stay in a different place in Tahoe”

Reviewed 29 May 2013

Stayed for two days and two nights. Loved the location and surroundings! Rooms are comfortable. The big backyard has very tall ping trees and well maintained grass field suitable for two team of kids to play whatever sports they would like. Kitchen is in very good condition. We cooked two dinners and two breakfasts for 7 people easily. Evenings are quiet. Grocery stores, lake, casino and ski resorts are just minutes away. My kid had a blast they didn't want to leave to go home.

“A very clean and comfortable cabin”

Reviewed 4 Mar 2013

We had bad experience with a few Lake Tahoe vacation rentals in the past so we hesitated when renting this unit in the beginning.  But as soon as we opened the door, we knew immediately that this is the rental that we will keep coming back in the future.  The house is very clean and well maintained.  Kitchen is nice.  Beds are very comfortable.  The owner really takes pride in providing a great lodging experience.  This will be our home away from home in Lake Tahoe.

“Enjoyed very much our stay in the house”

Reviewed 9 Jan 2013

It's clean and pleasant, just like home with everything you need. The location is excellent too, close to Heavenly and not far from Sierra at Tahoe. If you forget something, stores are within walking distance, if you don't mind the coldness outside. I wish we can have time to stay there in the future and would like to recommend it to all my friends who are interested in skiing, or just get away from the stress of work.

“Home away from Home in Picturesque Tahoe”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2013

We had a great time here! The cabin is well furnished, very clean, and beautifully decorated. It is really cozy and has everything for a comfortable stay. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and is also close to the ski resorts, Lake Tahoe, the bustling downtown area. We will definitely come back again!

“A Beautiful and Modern Cabin”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2012

We spent 5 nights at this cabin while it was snowing heavy in South Tahoe. The cabin was warm and cozy. It is very modern, clean, and has all the equipments that we needed. 2 nice bedrooms and a very large loft with 4 beds + 2 flat panel TVs. Great location. It is close to Heavenly ski resort, all the casinos, and the village. So many restaurants are close by too. I highly recommend this cabin. we will definitely go there again.

“Cozy cabin in South Lake Tahoe”

Reviewed 4 Dec 2012

Great vacation house! There are four twin beds in the loft where kids can play, perfect for sleepover. Well equipped kitchen made us feel at home. Conveniently, located, Lake Tahoe is just a few minutes away. We will definitely plan to come over again!
