“Great Location and Comfort”

Reviewed 23 Nov 2014

The Bellina apartment was very comfortable, attractive and efficiently designed. Its side street entrance sheltered it from the noise and bustling crowds of the city. The bright sitting room and dining area were refined and relaxing. The firm bed and good temperature controls provided both of us with a great night’s sleep. The well-equipped modern galley kitchen was great for preparing lighter meals. Visiting all areas of Rome was convenient from this central location near the popular Spanish Steps. We thoroughly enjoyed eating out at the wonderful restaurants on the nearby Via di Ripetta and were quite contented that the dining was not al fresco, as it was autumn. We are recommending Italy Perfect to friends, having valued their efficiency, accurate attention to detail, restaurant recommendations and travel advice that allowed for a worry-free holiday.

Response from the manager Thank you so much for your lovely remarks, so happy you enjoyed the Bellina apartment. The Italy Perfect Team.

“Really nice apartment in a great neighborhood”

Reviewed 21 Nov 2014

We found this apartment a nice respite from the noise and bustle of Rome. The location was excellent (a side street off the Via Del Corso, easy walking distance to taxis and transit at Piazza Popolo and Spanish Steps), and the window shopping and people watching in the neighborhood was great. The apartment itself was very comfortable, with a large living room, comfortable bed, and updated bathroom. It's a one floor walk up, which might pose a problem for people with mobility issues. Given the second floor location, there was some occasional street, store, and vendor noise until about 800pm each evening...but it just added to the local color and went away later in the evening. The main sites (Forum, Vatican, etc) are all a bus/taxi ride away, although the Ara Pacis (a fantastically well-preserved 1st century altar, covered with amazing sculpture, housed inside a modern glass building for protection) is just a few blocks away. We had a number of wonderful meals while in Rome. We'd definitely recommend: Ostoria da Pietro, one block from the apartment; Il Vechhia Roma in Piazza Campitelli; Casa Breve near Piazza Navonna; and Fortunata da Pantheon, which has both good food and street seating with a great view of the Pantheon. We would definitely recommend this apartment...and Italy Perfect...to friends.

Response from the manager Thank you for your kind review! Please visit us again, we have some more restaurants to recommend! The Italy Perfect Team

“would definitely go back to this place”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2014

Would come back again Jul 2014 The location was terrific in terms of where it was in relation to everything else and also being on a small alley off the main street where we could hear the great local street sounds. The apartment was just as pictured, no surprises. Not fancy, but certainly adequate and homey. The information provided by Italy Perfect helped smooth any of the bumps of international travel. We used the restaurant guide often and mainly enjoyed Osteria Da Pietro which was one street away. We also used Stefano's car service that was recommended and that was unbelievably convenient. Our cell phone did not work right away so we couldn't contact them at the airport, but the driver waited for us and had called the greeter to let them know that we were running late.

Response from the manager We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you will be back again soon. The Italy Perfect Team

“Great Location and comfortable apartment”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2014

This apartment is spacious and well appointed; It is helpful to have the laundry facility; It has a comfortable ( if firm) bed and is quiet. We liked the location as it is walking distance to most of the tourist spots; there is good coffee just down the street and a great deli downstairs. If you want to go to Ad Hoc which is well rated around the corner- book before you arrive. Both places on Piazza popola are good for a drink after dinner

Response from the manager Thank you very much for your kind review! Glad you liked the furnishings and the location. Please visit us again. The Italy Perfect Team

“Bellina-A lovely apartment in Rome in a wonderful location”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2013

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely apartment a few blocks away from the Piazza Popolo and the Spanish Steps. One flight upstairs, the windows opened onto a small street with very little traffic. The woman who greeted us was terrific. We walked everywhere. There are many restaurants around the apartment, and our experience was that if you find one that looks nice and the menu is to your liking, it will be great (order the house wine, and you can't go wrong). The cell phone service is not great in the apartment, but one piece of advice that we would suggest to anyone spending time in Italy: go into the Vodafone store (5-6 blocks away) and buy a Italian Vodafone SIM card (assuming it will work in your phone-check before you leave the us). It's inexpensive and easy to add more phone or internet time (go into any kiosk, tell them how much and they do it). Our experience with the two places that we booked through Italy Perfect was very positive. The units were wonderful and exactly as described.

Response from the manager Delighted you were very happy with the Bellina apartment. Thank you from the Italy Perfect Team.

“Bellina offers a great location and comfortable stay.”

Reviewed 29 May 2013

Celebrating our 40th anniversary in Rome was something special and the Bellina apartment was a highlight. Great location with easy access to metro and taxis if needed. Very comfortable and quiet. Had two great dinners while in Rome, La Gensola (Trastevere) and Piperno ( The Ghetto). Also enjoyed Niño's in the Monti area. Would like to thank our greeter who made reservations for us at one of her favorite trattorias, Pietro al Pantheon, an easy walk. Great cacao e pepe with white truffles. Special thanks to Lisa at Italy Perfect for all her help. Will definitely recommend Italy Perfect to my friends and use their services in the future

Response from the manager We are delighted that your 40th anniversary in Rome was enjoyable and that the Bellina apartment worked out so well for you. The Italy Perfect Team.

“An Italian November to Remember.”

Reviewed 18 Dec 2012

A November to Remember Dec 2012 From start to end, booking the Bellina to check out, my experience was amazing! Renting the apartment was so easy and the information provided in regards to the accommodations as well as travel details was just perfect. I even loved the souvenir tips located in the attachments. The apartment was super cozy and efficient with great proximity to all of the tourist attractions. The thing I loved the most was the shopping district and the many restaurants near the apartment (Via del Corsa and Piazza del Popolo). It provided for a very lively environment. The apartment amenities were very good, with everything needed included. Actually, the owner/greeter provided a couple of really special items as a welcome package to me (wine, fresh bread, milk, bottled water, chocolate, pasta). While I definitely won't expect this each time, it made my arrival picture perfect. My greeter even called me a day later when the temperature dipped about ten degrees to make sure I knew how to turn on the heat. While not needed, it was much appreciated. In general, everything was very well thought out and planned for. And it was very extremely clean. My greeter was prompt and incredibly helpful as was the car service (excellent) from and to the airport. I walked everywhere except for one day. Getting a taxi was extremely easy and pretty cheap. Missed a few things about being in a hotel but I would have to say that I am renting again through Italy Perfect and Paris Perfect. For me, it just makes the trip more special and authentic. I've already recommended Italy Perfect to several friends and others.

Response from the manager So pleased your trip was special and memorable. Thank you from the Italy Perfect Team.

“Great apartment Dec 2012”

Reviewed 3 Dec 2012

The first night in Rome we stayed in a typical mid-range hotel. Tiny. Could barely fit a suitcase in the room. Couldn't turn around in the shower. And then we checked into Bellina. What a difference an apartment makes. A nicely furnished living room, a roomy bedroom, a spacious bathroom with a good sized shower. Plus all the extras - a small kitchen, a washing machine, ironing board, cable TV and speedy wireless Internet. Consuelo promptly greeted us and showed us how everything worked and everything worked flawlessly. Plus the location was perfect, near Piazza Popolo and the Spanish Steps. In short we loved this place and will stay there next time we are in Rome.

Response from the manager Glad to hear you fell in love with the Bellina apartment, we look forward to welcoming you back. Thank you from the Italy Perfect Team.

“Fell in love with Roma and this apartment.”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2012

We stayed here on our first ever trip to Europe. The apartment was clean, lovely and cute and best of all- central to Rome. My fiancé and I are absolutely in love with Rome and having somewhere like this to go back to for siesta during the day and night was amazing. Wifi was a huge help. The contact person was an absolute love, and gave us helpful information and tips on getting about Rome- where to go and general advice such as good places to eat. She started our trip off after 2 days of flying on a good start. We cannot wait to go back- we will definitely be staying here again. I couldn't believe you walk outside the apartment and you have the main shopping street at the end of the lane and restaurants and bars just seconds away, yet the apartment kept all the noise out. Absolutely perfect, couldn't recommend it any higher!

Response from the manager Thank you from the team at Italy Perfect.

“Charming apartment!”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2012

I rented the Bellina for my parents. My husband and I, along with our 3 teenage children were in an apartment, also rented through Italy Perfect, that was a few minute walk from the Bellina. It worked out wonderfully! My parents enjoyed the Bellina and said the bed was very comfortable. The apartment was charming, loved the wooden beams, and was perfect for the two of them. The location was great! Right around the corner was Via del Corso. There you could find shopping. Close by, meaning 2 to 3 blocks away, were a couple of coffee shops and a grocery store. There were many restaurants close by also. We walked to many of the sites from here, but if you wanted transportation, the taxi stand and subway were within a few blocks. My parents found this apartment to be very comfortable and quiet. Pat from Italy Perfect was very helpful and prompt to reply, with any questions I had regarding the rental. I would definitely recommend the Bellina apartment, as well as Italy Perfect! Colette, Canada
