“the apt to stay in the eternal city”

Reviewed 22 Mar 2015

We have stayed at the Flaminio apt for 5 days in early Feb 2015 - the apt is in a nice & central area, walking distance to Piazza del Popolo and Via del Corso - and metro & taxi. The apt was very clean and exactly how it looked on the website. The elevator in the building is a bit archaic but definitely nice on the 'Roman' charm .. We usually preferred to have breakfast in the apt and kitchen was very adequate for that. No real supermarkets close by - but that's how it is if you live in downtown Rome - so make sure you stock it all before 7 pm. I'd definitely recommend this property for anyone coming to Rome to enjoy this eternal city with his/her family and live local even for a little bit .

Response from the manager Thank you, we hope you return soon to the Eternal City. The Italy Perfect Team.

“Fantastic stay”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2014

We found the Flaminio to be exactly as advertised. A very nice apartment that accommodated our party of 4 perfectly. It actually looked better than the pictures, especially that view from the terrace. We also found the concierge to be very friendly and helpful. The location for us was perfect, easy access to the underground trains which we took advantage of. It's also an easy 1/2 mile walk down to the Spanish steps and the best shopping in Rome along the way. The only issue we had, and a minor one at that, was it took 3 hours to wash our clothes. This might just be normal in Italy, I don't know. There are some really good restaurants within walking distance, but honestly, we found all the food (and wine) to be really good. We would recommend using Italy Perfect without hesitation.

Response from the manager Thank you very much for your kind review! We are delighted the apartment was better than the photos and that you enjoyed your stay. The time for the wash cycle is that long for all Italian washers, saves energy!! The Italy Perfect Team.”

“Great Location + Great Terrace = Great Apartment”

Reviewed 18 Jun 2014

This is a great apartment for enjoying the Spanish Steps area (on foot), and also convenient to Taxi stand (Piazza Popolo) and metro (Piazzelle Flamina). The apartment is exactly as advertised, and the wrap-around terrace became a favorite place for breakfast, dinner, or drink. Very comfortable for two couples, and well equipped.

Response from the manager So glad you found everything as advertised! Thank you for your kind review. Please visit us again. The Italy Perfect Team

“Well worth it.”

Reviewed 25 May 2014

We stayed in the Flaminio apartment in April. It was the last leg of our trip and it was so lovely to be in a spacious, comfortable, well equipped apartment for our last few days before returning home. Rene was friendly and very helpful settling us in, and provided very useful provisions given that we had arrived on a Sunday afternoon when not much was open. It was lovely to stay in the relatively quiet area, but with easy access to the metro, buses and many attractions. Staying near a public park is always important to us, travelling with two outdoor-loving Aussie kids, and the Borghese gardens were a lovely place to walk to for the kids to let off a bit of steam. I would highly recommend this apartment and the Italy Perfect people were well organised and professional.

Response from the manager Thank you, so glad we were able to help with a few provisions on arrival.

“From the coffee on the wraparound balcony to the comfortable beds it really was perfect”

Reviewed 16 May 2014

Just wanted to post a review for the awesome apartment Flaminio we stayed in during our recent visit to Rome. From the start Lisa at Italy Perfect was helpful and responsive. Having been to Rome before I knew this was the perfect location, close to the subway and next to Piazza del Popolo which branches out with three very walkable streets. One to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, one to the Victor Emmanuel monument and the colosseum and the other to the pantheon and Piazza Navona with great shopping and restaurants along the way. The apartment itself was beautiful with everything we needed even english books to read. There were two gelato shops close by with the "real" gelato (we learned about on a food tour). We also used Italy Perfect's recommended private concierge Carolina for a palace tour and a cooking class in her home(we used the well stocked kitchen at the apartment to try the techniques we learned in the class). From coffee on the wraparound balcony to comfortable beds it really was perfect

Response from the manager Thank you for being our guests. We hope you come back again soon. The Italy Perfect Team.

“Fantastic”

Truly a home away form home! Fantastic location and perfect for any travelers, including families. Convenient access (within 2 blocks of metro) to all sights, and nearby restaurants (close, but not too close) within walking distance. From the moment we met the doorman and were introduced to the property by our assigned host, we knew it would be fabulous. Comfortable and spacious with all the amenities of even the most spoiled traveler (WiFi, Television, fully equipped kitchen, written resources and guides to the area, etcetera). I would absolutely recommend this location and Italy Perfect to a f

“Great location getaway!”

Reviewed 18 Jan 2014

The service was great! Our host was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The apt was clean and comfortable. Nice area to spread out and having cooking options is always great when your away from home. There is a market close by that has everything you need and more local delicious options. The condo was roomy but the master bed could use some updating unfortunately the mattress was extremely hard for my taste (no give) I ended up sleeping with my daughter in the twin bed room. Not much shared time with my husband.Thank goodness we were doing a lot of sightseeing .We were so exhausted when we came back. There were great little shops and your in walking distance to the Spanish Steps and the square. We had a great time it was a great place to come back to instead of a crowded hotel a little home away from home! Fabulous!

Response from the manager Thank you very much, please come again. The Italy Perfect Team.

“Great Location - Awesome apartment”

Reviewed 22 Nov 2013

My wife and I have stayed in numerous apartments over the years throughout Rome. Flaminio is our favorite by far. The location is great - near the metro and major sights - just 10 minutes to the Spanish Steps. It is quiet! The location is away from major streets and even with the windows open at night the neighborhood is very peaceful. The apartment is well appointed with everything we could hope for in terms of our needs - fully equipped kitchen, adapters and multi tap plugs for all of our chargers, thick and absorbent towels and handy maps and guidebooks. Five of us stayed there and found it to be quite ample in space and amenities. For us the highlight was the terrace. It was a great place to put up out feet and enjoy a glass of wine after a day of touring. Another highlight of the apartment is the doorman. Lucky was wonderful and always very helpful - always a smiling face and a kind word. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. Italy Perfect delivered what was promised!

“Great apartment in Rome”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2013

The Flaminio property, a large two-bedroom, two-bath apartment filled with light was extremely comfortable, attractive and well cared for. Check-in was easy and the owner was lovely and easily accessible. The apartment is on an upper floor, like a penthouse, and the building has an elevator. The location was perfect. You are right near the spectacular and bustling Piazza Del Populo, with its fountains, churches, a great Caravaggio painting and cushy cafes yet just outside the piazza in a peaceful, prosperous neighborhood served by tram and Metro lines. Its a 15-20 minute walk to the Pantheon - although you'll want to take two hours stopping, looking and eating - and a metro stop or two from the Vatican. The apartment itself has a spacious wrap-around terrace that's perfect for breakfasting outside or cocktails and the interior public areas, the living room and kitchen are spacious and comfy. Most important, the beds are in very good condition, the linens are plentiful and the bathrooms well set up, so that once you are back from running around Rome you can truly relax. Small food stores are nearby on the Via Flaminia for basic and more than basic needs, a bevy of neighborhood lunch and coffee places are right at hand and there is a market on certain days of the week about 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

Response from the manager Thank you, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. The Italy Perfect Team.

“Loved Flaminio apartment!”

Reviewed 4 Nov 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome and the Flaminio apartment. The pre-planning info provided by Italy Perfect made the trip go smoothly. We used the car service suggested and were very pleased. All transfers went like clockwork. The doorman at Flaminio helped us get into the apartment and gave us a great orientation. The apartment is as advertised and it looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The area is busy during the day and quieter at night. We always felt safe even walking to the apartment after dark. I would not hesitate to reserve this apartment again. It's a few blocks walk to "real" restaurants. We were so tired at the end of each day we picked up "take-away" at some of the small eateries nearby. Most were OK but definitely not the better restaurants in Rome. There is a good gelato shop on the walk from the subway to the apartment--stopped many times! We will definitely check Italy Perfect properties first for future trips! Virginia

Response from the manager We look forward to your return trip to Italy! The Italy Perfect Team.
