“Great stay!”

“average, disappointed”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2013

The place looked absolutely gorgeous in the photos online and to be honest we were disappointed when we arrived. The back yard near the spa was unkempt and the area looked like there was junk scattered on the deck. The house was not as nice as the pictures appeared and for the price honestly not worth it. The kitchen was not well equipped at all when compared to other places I have stayed. I would not go back to this home.

Response from the manager Thank you so much for staying with us. Please know that we appreciate any and all feedback. The backyard was cleaned up before the next guests came in. The concerns have been addressed. The owner has done many upgrades including Hardwood Floors throughout. Please contact us next time you would like to Stay In Tahoe.

“Fun Relaxing Weekend”

Very nice clean and plenty of room. Our family gathering was excellent and this rental made it possible to have our large family all in one place.

“nice family spot”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2013

What we enjoyed most about the place was the "feel". It had a true cabin feel to it, which is different than anything our family had done before, as we are more used to hotels/resorts. There were plenty accommodations in terms of dishes and such. Skillets could use replacing. Our kids (4) really enjoyed the game room, and the home gave us plenty of space to not be on top of each other. It was neat and clean. One disappointing thing was the linens, bedding, and mattresses. There were no Mattress protectors/pads, and the pillows were disgusting with sweat rings and flat. I recommend they replace the pillows. I brought pillows for all the kids but forgot mine and my husbands. We ended up buying pillows to use while there. Also, the queen bedroom downstairs I noticed when laying down beside one of my kids drooped at the legs. I looked under the mattress to find there was half a board on the top half of the mattress, and nothing toward the bottom half. I recommend buying a bunky board to put under the mattress. The mattress in the loft area was also bad. I thought the king bed that I slept in was confortable,a and there was a mattress topper on that bed(foam I think). There were plenty of towels to use while there. We enjoyed the spa, although it did not seem to get hot enough. Also, they asked that you don't use the spa after 10pm. I do think it would be a great home to share if you were going to vacation with another family. I would recommend to another family.

Response from the manager The pillows and mattress pads were all replaced by the owners after hearing about these comments. The mattress support was repaired as well. The hot tub was serviced and there was nothing wrong with the heater. The temperature control has to be used to increase the temperature.

“Family Reunion”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2013

We partly rented this cabin because of the huge yard. Unfortunately, it had lots of weeds and our small dogs were not able to be outside. Not safe enough to put up a volley ball net. Dryer didn't work properly nor did dishwasher. Many of the dishes were dirty that were put away. Rooms were very dusty. However, the Coldwell-Banker team were excellent and we would rent from them again.

Response from the manager When the guests reported the problems we addressed all issues. We have had the yard mowed and all weeds trimmed. Both the dryer and dishwasher have been repaired by appliance repairman. House was thoroughly deep cleaned and all dishes were washed by the housekeeper.

Our stay at the cabin was amazing. The associates at the rental office were the nicest people and they helped us navigate our way around town. The cabin was peaceful and exactly what we hoped. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of nearby stores and diversions.

“Cozy, open, accomodating, fun home.”

Reviewed 24 Mar 2013

Great service and help during booking. When we arrived at the house there was a light out and one of the pool balls was missing. Someone came right over with a light bulb and the missing ball. The home had plenty of bedrooms and couches with extra pillows and blankets. The recreation room was perfect for some fun. Could play music over the speakers and enjoy the pool table, foosball table, and dart board. The dining room table was also perfect for card games or a nice dinner. Plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There was also dish soap and new sponge, hand soap/body wash/shampoo in the bathrooms, and extra toliet paper. The house was in a quiet location and was very relaxing. When we walked our dogs, the neighbors all seemed really nice.

“Fun and Quiet Home”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2012

The home had a lot of great things about it and some things needed improving. The game room was terrific as were the king and bunk beds and 2 queen beds. It's a nice quiet neighborhood with the coyotes howling at night lots of ambience. the back yard was perfect for the dogs, like having their own dog park. ther house was super clean and the hot tub was very nice. Also, lots of clean towels were on hand. The disappointing things were, the Bar-B-Que, (inadequate for anything more than hot dogs). The blender didn't work and the stove top wasn't very good. Also, the sofa, queen bed in the game room was not comfy as the mattress was 2" thick. I would suggest putting the foos ball game where the pull out sofa is and put a bed where the foos ball table is now. The sofa bed could be put on the corner there with a "free" sign on it. The large TV sofa was the best sofa ever.

Response from the manager The BBQ, blender and stove top were all replaced by the home owner after hearing about this guests complaint. The bed in the game room has also been replaced with a new sofa bed and sofa bed mattress.

“Perfectly cozy house for a nearly perfect weekend.”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2012

The weekend started off right with great weather. The house was in great condition. We liked that there was 4 bunk beds for our 4 kids. The king size bed was definitely the most comfortable mattress in the house...although the tv in the room could have been elevated so that watching it would have been easier. I didn't receive any complaints about the 2 queen beds either from my family and friends but the fold out queen sofa bed had some issues starting with the jacked up bed frame. My brother-in-law also woke up with a kink in his neck but we understand too that sofa mattresses aren't usually going to be the most comfortablest. Even lounging on the couches was very relaxing and comfortable. The game room was a throw in bonus for us...and the jacuzzi was clean and superbly kept! We would definitely like to come back here for another family vacation.
