Our cozy cabin is beautifully situated on a wooded half-acre in Tahoma, on the peaceful west shore of California's legendary Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our home offers 1154 square feet of country living on one level just a few blocks from Lake Tahoe's uniquely clear blue water and pristine beaches.

Within walking distance is a small shopping center with a gelato and coffee shop, and a newly remodeled grocery store & deli. Or choose to relax at our Lake Tahoe cabin with its fully furnished kitchen and a fire in the wood-burning stove, listening to the stereo system or viewing one of our more than 400 movies. Our vacation home will host up to 8 people over age 5 with no limit on younger children. We have beds for 11 counting the crib and bunk beds.

Kids love our Tahoe vacation rental cabin! Our Tahoe vacation cabin has lots of outdoor space to play summer or winter as we own four consecutive lots, making our property 200 feet by 125 feet. Our smoke-free cabin has three themed bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two Morrows Tahoe Cabin is supplied with a baby crib, high chair, children's books, toys and games.

Getting around

The easiest way to get around is in your own vehicle, but there is a TART bus that stops along Highway 89 just a few blocks from the cabin. There is also a shuttle to Homewood Mountain Resort in the winter. Buses to local poplular sites like Emerald Bay are in the future plans for our neighborhood. Our driveway accommodates 3 vehicles but only 2 in winter if the snow is deep.

Interaction with guest

First you will receive our Welcome Book - part 1 along with our contract to sign and return, agreeing to the rules and regulations in the Welcome Book. Required is the names and contact information and copies of IDs for all adults staying overnight, and names and ages of all children. Once you return the contract, you will receive part 2 of the Welcome Book, with lots of information about how to get there, how to get into our cabin, how to manage our home, as well as seasonal suggestions of things to do while you are at Lake Tahoe. Shortly before your arrival, we will send you the code to open our key-less entry lock, and if it is winter, we will turn up the heat for you. We have two outdoor security cams.

Response from the owner The games are in a marked tub in the back bedroom closet. The bookshelves in the middle bedroom have several books about the flora and fauna, activities and history of Tahoe. The sleds are in the first wood bin section on the deck. This information is in the material you received after booking.
