“Fully stocked condo in an AWESOME location!”

Reviewed 8 Mar 2016

Appreciated this fully stocked condo! We were able to cook all our meals as there is everything needed to do so. The condo even had beach chairs, an umbrella and snorkeling equipment. We popped the mouthpieces into the dishwasher to disinfect which worked perfectly. The beach was absolutely beautiful and there is a cabana for towels and a place to completely get out of the sun if you like. It certainly didn't feel like a 7 minute walk from the condo and although we failed to actually time it it was a beautiful short walk down. There is also a beautiful 3 mile beach walk that we took advantage of each morning to get in our exercise. We will rent here again next time we are in Maui. Just a couple of notes...there is a resort/parking fee that we weren't aware of when we booked that is paid upon arrival based on the days you stay. Our fee was $186 for 9 nights and we both felt like the fee was very reasonable as it covers parking in a covered lot. The only other thing you should know about this particular unit is it is right next to the parking garage and we were awakened a couple of times when folks were leaving early in the morning or coming in later at night. Those were only on the nights we slept with the sliding door open and had turned off the air conditioning. Not a deal breaker for this great unit in a great location! Thank you Vivian!

“West Maui surprize”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2015

I came to visit my elderly mother who lives on the other side Although I did not seek a vacation resort The unit was perfect as the bed and sofa and fully equipped kitchen made staying there like home. It was quiet and close to the parking lot Only thing there was no sun on the patio at any hour of the day and the beach was rough so the only alternative was the beach deck which although only a 10 minute up hill walk was not so close or convenient and there is no whirlpool or jacuzzi anywhere Perfect to sleep and eat and go

“Beach so close”

Reviewed 13 Dec 2013

We had a great 5 day stay here. Clean unit. So close to beach. Fantastic snorkeling. Nice updated unit. But no view. Closest unit to parking garage for easy unloading.

“Another visit to Paradise.”

I have been travelling to the Hawaiian islands since 1984. The very first place I stayed was the Maui El Dorado. It can't be beat for location and amenities. The only beach cabana on Kaanapali Beach is one of the big pluses. This particular unit was very nicely done and had some features that I especially liked - all tile floors, an attractive remodeled shower with hand-held sprayer, large curved sofa. It's an end unit so very quiet. Also, very close and convenient to the parking garage. It has a wonderful big tree right off the balcony so be sure to bring your binoculars to watch the birds and lizards. Fully stocked with everything you might need - plenty of beach towels plus you can get those at the Cabana. I wouuld definitely stay there again.

“Clean and Comfy”

I come to Maui Yearly with My Sister and Husband. This is the fifth time I have stayed at the Eldorado. My Sister and I extended our stay and we moved into this unit for Three Days. Very Clean, Comfortable Bed. Huge Couch, And nicely Furnished. Lots of beach toys on deck in bin. Close Walk to the Cabana. From the Deck you can see the beautiful Plants and flowers that are all around the Eldorado. The staff at the Eldorado are Very Helpful. Can,t beat the Price for the area. Short walk to Whalers Village.Would Definitely recommend to Friends and family.

“Just what I wanted”

I really like the location of this condo. The beach (and beach cabana) is a 5-min (I timed it) walk from the Maui Eldorado through a lovely golf course. There is good snorkelling (Black Rock) about the same distance away. You can walk to restaurants like Hula Grill as well as the Whalers Village mall in the hotel strip along Kaanapali Beach where they have free evening entertainment - a longer walk, but completely doable if you don't want to drive anywhere. I also did the boardwalk north along the shore. Beautiful! The drive to Lahaina with more bars/ restaurants, grocery stores, theatres and shops is about 5-10 mins. The room is comfortable, but I didn't spend a lot of time in it, so I didn't mind that I only had a view of other condos. It was very quiet and it had everything I needed: boogie boards, snorkel gear, spice rack in the kitchen, along with any dishes I needed for cooking. The beach cabana is the best thing about the condo, in my opinion: a full kitchen, loungers, towels and great people attending to it.

“I loved the l?nai!”

I spent every morning sipping on hot coffee on the patio while enjoying the awesome breeze, moderate exposure to the sun, and wonderful greenery. This condo was all that I asked for. For the location, the nightly rate was a bargain. Then when you realize that the condo has everything you need for an island vacation, and you feel very fortunate to find such a gem. There's a washer and dryer in the unit, which is very helpful on this type of trip. There was even laundry detergent there, but it may have been left from the previous guest. The kitchen had a stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, plates, utensils, etc. Whatever you needed was there. There were plenty of kitchen towels, a bottle of 409, Palmolive dish detergent, a new sponge for your stay, and even hot sauce! We did find rust stains on the knife set, but it wasn't a big deal. There are plenty of restaurants and marketplaces nearby to get these types of things. The bathroom was roomy and had a large closet. There were lots of goodies in the closet: beach/regular towels (one less thing to pack), snorkeling gear, body boards, etc. The shower area was clean, spacious, and had decent water pressure. Now to the main area...the king size bed and large L-shaped sofa were very comfortable. There is a flat screen TV in the room with a DVD player and all the channels that you need. I never got the password to the wi-fi, so I ended up using the ethernet cord. Not a big deal at all. There is also an iPod/iPhone speaker system, and dining table for four. Lastly, the patio was well furnished with a lounge chair, another round table for four, and a BBQ grill. As you can see, unit J210 has all that you need for your trip in Maui. It's definitely a bargain with the quality that you deserve. One last tip: park on level four if you have a car. It's closest to the stairs that lead to the unit.

“Comfortable condo in wonderful location.”

Reviewed 25 Jan 2012

This was the perfect for our Maui experience. The condo is well-appointed, very clean and a perfect size for two people. The location is as good as one could wish. There are three pools to choose from within the complex but the topper for us is the access to the Outrigger cabana on the beach about ten minutes from the condo. They provide towels plus the use of all facilities one could need at the beach. In addition, the Whaler's Village complex is a short walk, along with a variety of restaurants and bars. We would rent this unit again without any qualms.

“Our Go-To Place in Maui!”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2011

We have stayed in this unit numerous times and have always been pleased with the accommodations. The location is convenient and within walking distance of the Whaler's Village, which has numerous dining options. We had no issues with the TV or any of the appliances that the last reviewer mentioned. This unit has a nice corner lanai that we enjoy relaxing on for breakfast or evening cocktails. An added bonus is the beach cabana which is located right next to the ocean. It includes a kitchen and bathroom facilities. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
