Property was nicely appointed and had all the amenities one would expect. The only appliance found somewhat lacking was the microwave that didn't work as well as hoped. Everything else worked well and the unit was quite comfortable for a small one bedroom. We would definitely stay there again.
The only thing missing in this condo is a milk jug for the Englishman's afternoon tea! Oh Yes and read the fine print. Purchase of 'Cancellation Insurance' for $60 is hardly necessary if you plan to go there.
Convenient location with great views of the Sherwins and Mammoth Crest; far from meadow but has a nice little creek next to the building; interior was nice, well lit, and generally comfortable, but mattress was a problem and may need replacing; kitchen was short of some dishes needed for cooking. We could not get shower washcloths from Snowcreek management.
“Convenient location, comfortable unit, No Club/Pool access”
We made our reservations, then received an email that the Club had been flooded, so no indoor pool or workout access. The thing is, we'd already gone to the Club's website and saw that this flooding had happened in November. I thought it a bit disappointing that the Snow Creek website didn't tell us at the time of reservation. Check-in went smoothly and the lady was very nice. The unit #268 was comfortable with a nice view and plenty of firewood on the balcony. It was close to one of the semi indoor Jacuzzis they have on the property. Careful of the door, which has two locks, easy to lock yourself out by mistake (which our young son did). We had parking right in front of the unit. The area was very quiet with some beautiful walking trails throughout it. There was a loft in this unit but it was roped off for owner's use only. The extra alcove bed is great for one or two small kids but it was cold there being right next to the front door. The shower was comfortable but the pinecone wall paper was a bit dated. Having a washer/dryer was great for drying out the wet ski/sledding clothes. The unit was clean, the cable was very basic. We couldn't get it to work and they sent a maintenance man in right away. Super nice guy. I guess you need to have better instructions in the unit and an upgraded TV station list as there is an old list and no cable guide. Nice touch with iPhone docking station chargers in the living room and master bedroom. The bed in the Master was extremely comfortable but the sheets didn't fit the deep mattress. They kept coming off during the night which wasn't nice. Nice and big dining room table with the view, from which you can watch the sunrise. Overall, I'd stay in the Snow Creek community again. Just a few miles from everything you need. Mammoth is a great year round place to visit and we've come up here at least 20 times but this is the first time at Snow Creek.
“Perfect accommodation in a great town”
Our lodge was everything we wanted. Comfortable, warm and well equipped in a quite and stunning location. The town and walks around Mammoth Lake kept us busy for three days without needing to drive anywhere else - a good job as many roads were closed at that time of year. Mammoth also has lots of restaurants - with many offering Gluten Free options on the menu - Hoorah!!! If you are going to Mammoth Lakes - stay here :)
“We loved it!”
The condo was perfect and in really nice condition. We brought our 6 month old with us and the bedroom had plenty of room to set up the pack in play - meanwhile at night we could sit by the fire and watch TV. I would recommend bringing some Dvd's with you! It was definitely worth the extra money to rent a deluxe over a standard condo. The view from the dining room table was gorgeous and the bed was extremely comfortable. My husband took the red line shuttle to Canyon Lodge. The only down side was the couch was a little hard, but the chair was nice so it wasn't a big deal. Overall we loved our stay and wish it could have been longer.
“Great place for a fair price”
Fast, smooth and easy check in. The condo was really nice! Clean and comfortable with plenty of space and the kitchen was stocked (pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc.) with just about everything we needed. Loved the fireplace! I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was. Located about 2 hundred yards from the street (Mineret), it was a fairly short walk from our front door to the shuttle. The only minor down side was that the internet was not working... Could have been the ridiculously high winds during that weekend though. Overall a great weekend!! Thanks!! Frank
Stayed in the fall. Was billed as a deluxe property. Was fine for my trip since I was by myself. I enjoy cooking my meals vs going out. Was a bit suprised when there was not a set of cooking knives in the kitchen. Huh?? Had to settle for a plastic handled steak knife to cut up my veggies and fruits. The condo itself was okay. Carpets had a few stains(again, thought this was a deluxe property. Wouldn't expect it(standard yes). Worked out fine but would choose a different property next time. Thanks Lisa
“clean, quiet and beautiful”
My wife and I arrived late on a Friday afternoon and stayed 4 nights in September. The staff was very kind, the unit is modern and clean. We were gone all day and ate out at night so we never used the recreation club facilties nor the kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and the town is very close by. This unit is small. There were two of us, travelling light and we filled it up. Parts of this unit are locked or restricted for only the owner's use. It is hard to picture 4 adults and all their stuff inside. The internet for that unit was down and that was a big problem for us. The staff never returned our messages for help. If internet access is important to you, you may want to stress that in advance.
