“Nice place with a great view.”

Reviewed 25 Jun 2016

The view from the living room was awesome. You are about 2 miles off the highway on a gravel road. It was quiet and close to Yellowstone.

“Serenity !”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2013

The home is on a beautiful piece of land with mountains all around. It is extremely peaceful. The views are breathtaking. The house is very comfortable and has anything you could possibly want in terms of convienences. We had a wonderful time. In fact, it was our second visit to this home. The proximity to Yellowstone park is also great (although this time we could not go due to government shutdown). We still had an awesome time ! The area has alot to offer - much different than our home town of Crystal Lake, IL. We will return when we are able !!

“Pictures don't do it justice!”

Reviewed 2 Oct 2013

What a house! The pictures don't do it justice - you just have to be there to experience it! First, the view of Emigrant Peak and the absaroka Mountains are unparalleled! I could not believe just how close I was to those mountains. Watching the full moon come up over them while storms played out to the southwest was awesome! Second, the house has everything you want/need and is very spacious. I envision coming here next time w/ my family, as there is so much room and privacy for multiple people. My favorite part of the house was the kitchen of course, as it was perfect for cooking in while having the fireplace going and staring out the great room towards Emigrant Peak! And the bathroom has an amazing shower and bathtub w/ views of the mountains out your window. All I can say is "wow"! I spent much of my time touring and hiking in the Paradise Valley and Yellowstone NP. This house is private, yet centrally and closely located to all the outdoor activities you can imagine and makes a great "base camp" to come home to after all of the day's activities.

“Surpassed our expectations”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2013

We travelled from London for a family reunion in Paradise Vista and was awestruck by both the house and the views. The house was very well equipped with absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. A true home from home. We had many meals on the west facing deck, watching the sun go down behind the mountains. This was a holiday that none of us would forget. Thanks to the owners of Paradise Vista and Mountain Home.

“Just Like Home!”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2013

We loved our stay at Paradise Vista! We spent most of our time at Yellowstone and enjoyed having a place to stretch out and relax when we were finished for the day. Everything was neat and clean. The house really has everything that you need - even laundry detergent. The kitchen had more than we would ever need in equipment - they even had ketchup and mustard. For "city folks" like us, the dirt roads came as a surprise, as well as all of the quiet. We loved it! We would highly recommend this property.

“July 8-15”

The was great, amazing views and very comfortable. A little hard to get to especially the last 2 miles are on a bumpy gravel road. Only complaint was the Internet really didn't work that well. We also enjoyed racing the neighbors dogs down the drive way.

This home was truly beyond our expectations. It was more like staying at a friends home than a rental. The owners have thought of everything. The location is ideal, views from within and out of the home are spectacular. We purchased the food cooked all our meals at home as the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want. Dishes and utensils were beautiful and abundant. This is a property we plan to return to. Guy L.

“Restful and beautiful”

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Paradise Vista - where the vista is gorgeous. We have rented vacation homes around the world, and this was one of the best. The house is tastefully decorated, full of amenities, and very comfortable. It worked perfectly for our celebration of my husband's 60th, conveniently located on the way to Yellowstone. I loved watching the mountains across from the house at different moments as colors changed.

“Fantastic house with stunning views - we absolutely loved it & h”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2012

We had a wonderful vacation in MT/WY and loved our mountain home. It is a stunning setting with panoramic views of the mountains. The house was roomy and comfortable, with every possible amenity. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are plenty of towels - truly everything we needed. We enjoyed our time visiting YNP and also the towns of Gardiner (try the elk burgers at Corral drive-in), Livingston (Montana Rib and Chop House - excellent), Bozeman (MSU) and also a trip to Big Ski ski resort (to zipline!). Can't wait to come back! :)

“Perfect in every way”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2011

The setting/scenery were stunning, the house was the best equipped we have ever rented (in 30 years of renting) - felt like we were at home. Plenty of dishes, utensils, soaps/detergents, supplies - didn't need to run out to get things like trash bags. Lots of Dvds/videos and books of every type. The view from the master bathroom will make you want to spend lots of time in there ! We got groceries in Livingston, and picked up extras (like milk)at the Sinclair gas station/convenience store on the highway. The location was convenient - close to the highway (10 min)but not too close. 40 min drive to Yellowstone NP Mammoth Springs entrance, 30 min to Livingston. Mountain Home staff was so helpful and website provided lots of very useful information. Be sure to try some of the local hikes into the national forrests. So much to do in this area - lots of restaurants, drive to Bozeman (what a fun town) rodeo in Garndiner ... This is such a beautiful and peaceful area, and having such a beautiful home made it a dream. Have already recommended Mountain Home to three close friends !
