“Wonderful Family Fun”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2014

This was our 2nd stay at Stardust MountainII and 4th overall stay at Little Valley Mountain Resort. Highly recommend this resort. Friendly staff, clean cabins and excellent amenities. We even had a mama bear visit us a few times during our stay, she is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back again soon!

“Love this resort!!”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2014

Our family absolutely loved this resort and this cabin. We booked this pet friendly/handicap accessible cabin a year in advance for 7adults and 2 children and it was everything we expected and more. The resort is close to all the attractions in Seveirville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and also Townsend/Cades Cove. The view is stunning and peaceful. The cabin is at the end of the road and very private. Other cabins are nearby, but there is plenty of nature in between each cabin. We enjoyed all the amenities that the resort offers: swimming, fishing, mini-golf, and the playgrounds. There is a Kroger grocery store about 10 minutes away and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Our family had a wonderful time at this resort/cabin and would love to return again and again and again....

“Nice secluded location yet Close enough to everything.”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2014

The cabin was clean, lovely and well-stocked. The little Valley resort was cute with many amenities. We enjoyed the pool the miniature golf and the hiking trails. The location of the cabin at the end of the street was perfect. The view from the cabin of the foothills was beautiful, but be aware that you are not seeing the large mountains of the Smokies. The location in Sevierville really was very convenient to access pigeon Forge the national park and Gatlinburg also. There were many activities that were indoor for the children to enjoy in pigeon Forge. There were many restaurants of all varieties for families. We were surprised at how good the food was. There was a supermarket very nearby. Two things to be aware of are the following: the road to the cabin is very steep, and every time I drove it I worried that my van would not be able to make the climb. It always did, and we never had a problem, but in bad or icy weather, it could get dicey. Second, I heard nocturnal scurrying sounds in the rafters of the cabin. I was told that perhaps it might be flying squirrels, I also suppose it could be bats. There was never any animal in the living area, but if this is the sort of thing that gets someone queasy, you may want to ask if they were removed. We felt that it was unavoidable problem in a mountain home. Also one should be aware that the bunkbeds are located in the open area of the loft space. There is a king size bed in a room on the second floor another king size bed in a second room on the second floor and also two king size beds in two handicap accessible rooms on the first floor. It is just The bunkbeds that were located in the open space near the pool table and the arcade game. That was just fine by my kids. Overall it was an excellent vacation experience. I would highly recommend renting this Cabin. We will be renting it again in the future.

“Christmas at Little Valley Mountain's Stardust II”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2014

Family had Christmas in the mountains. Lvm was the ticket for several reasons-- I'll address the resort and then the house we were in. Lvm is developed such that most houses are extremely private. You are not on top of one another looking out onto a patchwork of rooftops, driveways, parking lots or major roadways, but rather viewing mountain tops, hills or hollows-- this is the beauty and major benefit of this resort that is rare in the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area. There are lovely, marked walking trails-- some "easy" walking, some a bit more up and down right there on the property on the mountain in the woods. You can always walk around the development, too. Lmv is located near a well stocked Kroger, drug stores, gas stations, as well as the shopping in Sevierville and not far at all from Dollywood. Gatlinburg is a short drive. The gas station not far from LMV has some great country ham biscuits if you happen to be the one voted to find a morning newspaper... So location, location, location--privacy where you feel you are on a secluded mountain with on site things to explore, but you are in fact close to a lot of other cool stuff. Ask which house is our favorite the answer is always the very last house we were in. So today it is Stardust II, but we've been in 5 others to date. We had a more difficult bill to fill this time: pet friendly and flatter area due to an older parent. Stardust II is a handicapped accessible pet friendly home, so the lot is developed to accommodate. It did not feel "institutional" as some hotel rooms feel if accessible. It is a "warm" place to be-cozy yet spacious-we brought our full sized fake Christmas tree. Best surprise: the mattresses on all 4 king beds were very nice. What would I change if I could? I would increase the height/size of the secondary bedside tables so they were more useful and brighten the kitchen lighting a tad more for those winter cooking evenings.

“Stardust II”

For the price we paid to stay here I expected a cleaner property. This was the second cabin that we have stayed in. The first was bad. I made the reservation for this particular cabin long before the first. After the first cabin I almost canceled this one. I wanted to give this a second chance. When we arrived it was dark and the light on the corner of the house was burned out. The maintenance crew changed the light the next day, but that did not help us that night getting bags out of car. The floors were dirty and the dishes were dirty. I think this may be the result of a dishwasher not working.

“Wonder family retreat”

Reviewed 27 Dec 2013

We had a wonderful experience. Everything was comfortable, casual and friendly. The cabin was everything I could have hoped for. Wish they had more towels for the hot tub, but when that is the worst thing you can say about a place, that is pretty good. This place was also very conveniently close to the attractions without bad traffic.

“Christmas Mini Vacay”

This was a mini vacation trip to see the lights in Dollywood.. We loved this cabin. It was very nice and private! We loved how you could find anything you needed in the well stocked kitchen. We love all our stays with Little Valley!! Always a warm welcome and comfortable stay. Keep up the good work Little Valley!!

“A luxurious cabin in the mountains with a mountain view.”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2013

Our family loved your cozy cabin. In fact we did not want to leave! We had fun putting one of your puzzles together. We had a birthday party for my granddaughter while we there and the kitchen table was big enough for all of us to sit around together. My husband is handicapped in a wheelchair. His favorite spot was on the front porch overlooking the beautiful view of the mountains. The guys enjoyed fishing and putt-putt. Some of us even enjoyed the jacuzzi. The children absolutely enjoyed the arcade and playing pool. I hope the next time we visit the fireplace will be lit. It was not lit until the morning we were leaving. We were disappointed about the grass not being mowed. The weeds were so high. I did like your quick response on cutting it the very next day. I regret it was not raked and should have been. We would not let the children play in the yard because of it! We were concerned about the 2 scorpions we found. One was found in the bathroom sink and the other on the floor. I worried about us getting stung by one. All in all we had an awesome time and would recommend this cabin to anyone, It was so clean and beautiful inside. The location was great. We liked feeling secluded but close to the grocery and all the fun activities in Pigeon Forge. When it came time to check out everyone was so kind. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality.

“Wonderful Experience”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2013

Our family spent 3 nights Stardust Mountain II - what a wonderful get-a-way. Check-in and Check-out was very easy. The cabin was excellent and served our needs as we had a handicapped member and children as well. Everyone had a great time. We enjoyed the pool (although it was a little cool) and the miniature golf. Our grandchildren enjoyed the nearby trail ride and we enjoyed the convenience to Gatlinburg. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation.
