“terriffic customer service”
We had excellent customer care from Elsie (think thats her name). She works in the office that you check with to get your keys. She spoke "aloha". The house was clean. Lots of ocean breeze thru the home. We finally figured out where the pool is located on our last day. Its ok cause we will be back.
The house fits the needs of a family quite comfortably, however no swimming/beach equipment were supplied at all. We noted several other like units provided snorkeling equip, boggie boards and such. The unit is comfortable and well designed for a family group. It is showing it age (tired looking), could use some modernization upgrades. But overall suited our needs, except for the lack of beach equip.
Response from the manager We're glad your home in the Poipu Kai Resort was comfortable for you and your family. The owners of your beach resort are the ones who are responsible for outfitting and updating the home. We encourage you, during your next visit to contact our resort staff who would be happy to help you access any beach equipment you might desire to have. I have also notified our Quality Assurance Manager about the need to refresh this home. She works with our owners to upgrade their beach resort accommodations. Thank you for your comments. Sincerely, Liz Parisi email@example.com
We enjoyed our stay in Makanui 111. The unit was pleasant and comfortable. The bushes outside the living room deck could be cut back to improve the view. The Makanui pool is terrible. Please update it and all the Suite Paradise pools. Please make sure that the pool keys you give us do go to the pools we use. Do not understand why we should not be able to use any of the pools that are on the property since they are all part of Suite Paradise. When you have small children there is no reason to have us walk from Makanui to the main pool.
Response from the manager Aloha Seattle, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Makanui 111 in the Poipu Kai Resort and that this condo met your vacation needs. Suite-Paradise functions as a manager for many condos in a number of different complexes. Each complex has its own homeowners' association which is responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds. Also each complex includes its own pool(s) that are maintained by fees from the owners. Our renters are invited to use all of the facilities that are available to the owners of that complex. We do apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in receiving the wrong keys to the pool. Rest assured that our resort staff is always available to immediately correct any problems you may have during your stay. Sincerely, Liz Parisi firstname.lastname@example.org
We completely enjoyed our stay in the condo managed by Suite Paradise. They were easy to organize our stay, the condo was absolutely beautiful and the location there in Poipu was great. I liked having the 2 different lanais, one faced the ocean and had great sunsets and the other on the other side of the house was very secluded and it felt that we were in a gardon setting. We would have enjoyed some extra pillows and beach chairs but on the whole...absolutely wonderful!
“Great ocean views and spacious plus close to beaches and shoppin”
Service was great. This is a nice, quiet house wih lots of space to sit outdoors - a verandah & a balcony. Kitchen & bathrooms are re-modeled & washing machine/dryer are located within the house. The house is good for 6-8 people. The kitchen was a little too cramped for our needs. The shower in the bathroom w/o the tub had very little water pressure so we were forced to use the master shower which had a little better water pressure-not adequate though. The pool was a little bit of a trek plus it isn't huge but the beaches are close by-can walk to the beach in front of the Hyatt or Poipu beach is 3-5 mins away by car.
“Great home, great location”
Our family of five - my husband, our grown son and daughter and son-in-law, spent a great week here. The home is lovely, plenty of room for us to spread out and an awesome wake-up view from the master bedroom. Location is great - easy access to main roads to sightsee, less than 5 minutes drive to Poipu Beach and less than 10 minutes walk to Shipwreck Beach along the Hyatt Beach access path. Staff was gracious and helpful.
“excelent location, and well equiped, great view.”
Small complaint about some of the dishes needed to be cleaned before using, and a bit more detail and thoroughness needed in the cleaning for the money charged on this suit, but not bad enough to complaine. We had a great stay. eo
“House, not a condo”
So beautiful! Well maintained, stocked with linens, dishes, etc. I would definitely recommend to friends. Kalapaki Joe's was great. Koloa shopping was awesome. Post office and grocery store right there. Great people there. Beaches down the dirt road past the Hyatt were more accessible than they said. Any car will be fine taking the road. Well worth it.Take the path( and flashlight and umbrella to Hyatt at night, and hang out at the bar. Great staff and service at the Hyatt. They have luau and brunch too. Pros; more comforts than my own home.Very quiet, lovely atmosphere. Cons:Must drive to everything. Too far to walk to the beach, pools, parking too far for disabled, elderly, and children. I am a healthy 47 yr old, but have bone and muscle damage from chemo therapy and was having a tough time with walking the whole path to the house from the car. Staff was very rude, and Un-friendly! Except one gal, did not give me her name. They gave the worst directions and were not helpful in finding anything, including the pool right (to the right) down the path at the office
It was a great location, the unit was perfect for our family. The only downfall was the washing machine broke, but maintenence was going to replace it.Good service, but found out later it would have been much cheaper to rent scuba gear off the premises.
“Most amazing 25th anniversary ever!”
This is the third stay using Suite Paradise at Poipu, Kauai and it gets better every time. This was a 25th anniversary celebration where we took our two adult daughters, son-in-law and not quite 2 year old grandson with us. The house was spacious, modern and the lanais were safe for a toddler. Beautiful view.
