“Condo 102”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2017

New improvements and updates each year! We love the view! Good amenities and perfect spot for walking to the beach and enjoying the turtles, whales and seals. Only one wish - wish the pool was heated. We love the little condo 102. We have booked the next two years.

Response from the manager Aloha Myrna, Thank you for your feedback, we can't wait to see again next year ... From our ohana to yours we wish you our warmest Aloha and Mahalo

“Very relaxing”

Reviewed 21 Apr 2014

We loved being close to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach and the view from this condo was superb. Proximity to the beach was fabulous and we loved being able to join the tennis club. We would definitely love to rent this unit again. The only real negative is the occasional smell from the septic tanks when the wind blows a certain way.

Response from the manager Aloha Karen D., We, at Suite Paradise, enjoy hearing from one of our guests who would really love to return to their special beach villa. There is nothing lovelier than being close enough to the ocean to hear the sound of waves breaking on the beach. As in most rural locations throughout the world, Kauai's homes and businesses are built with septic systems, which are usually trouble free. Plus we have our wonderful trade winds and tropical breezes which are so refreshing. Lucky we live Kauai! Sincerely, Liz Parisi manager@suite-paradise.com

“We were happy”

I don't want to say it was exceptional. You see, we want to be able to book a room in the next several decades. So, I'm going to rate this condo as "so so". Thanks for the most exceptional experience, guys. We were beyond delighted. Lee and Karin Turchin

“What a view!!”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2013

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The view of the beach was unbelievable. Upon check in we were offered a very tasty cocktail. The agent was very friendly and helpful. Once in our condo, we found the rooms rather warm and requested a fan which was delivered. The unit was everything we expected and more. The staff does an outstanding job of stocking the unit with many needed supplies. We did not have to buy laundry, kitchen or dishwasher soap. We also had a good supply of tp. Keep up the good work with the supplies, even charging a little more if necessary. We lost a room key and fortunately an agent was available to replace it. This was our third but not last stay with Suite Paradise.

“Beautiful condo and views”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2013

Being always dubious when booking hotels or condo's on line...must say I was very pleased with our accomodations. It was spacious, nicely furnished, everything we needed for our stay. The view from our unit was fantastic and a very short walk to ocean. The condo's were in a perfect location and a short drive to all the tours we booked. Office staff was pleasant and very helpful and we certainly enjoyed our complimentary Mai Tai's on arrival! Would definitely stay here again.

“Exceptional Condo and Customer Service”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2013

Stayed a week and the service was exceptional. The condo itself was very clean and well stocked. They even left a bottle of wine in the fridge. Would definitely stay there again and the rates were reasonable.

“Great view of the ocean but a little disappointing otherwise”

Overall we enjoyed the our stay. The view and the proximity to the beach and pool were great. Unfortunatley there was alot that could be improved! The sofa bed in the living room was unbearable, even with the shredded foam insert. Don't count on using it. The blankets were stained and had holes. The pillows were the cheapest foam kind. There is no Wifi in this unit! There is one flat screen TV with an old VCR attached! There is no docking station for your ipad or iphone - only an "older" radio/stereo in the living room (no Cd's)! The kitchen is old and has limited cooking utensils and appliances. When I asked to borrow a few extra plates and wine glasses (so that we could invite some friends to have dinner at our unit), I was told by reception that none were available and I was stuck with the few items the owner had provided. Two coffee mugs and mismatched plastic glasses are not what you expect in a "deluxe" condo rental. This is not a good unit for anyone who likes to cook or entertain. Our friends who were staying in the same resort had units that were much better equipped. Their units came with lots more kitchenware and items such as wave boards, snorkel equipment and beach furniture. If you stay in this unit, you have to purchase or rent these things. We were lucky and for most of our stay there was no one in the unit above us. When there was someone above (or even next door) it was very noisy. The resort was well maintained with the exception of the propane in the Bbqs. It was hard to find one that had enough gas to cook our dinner sometimes! There are limited amenities. There are only two accessible pools and one hot tub. There is no fitness or games center, volleyball area, pingpong tables, basketball courts or other activities for the kids. There is a tennis center but you are forced to buy a "membership" if you want to use it. The lack of even such basic amentities means this is not a deluxe resort.

“Peaceful and Relaxing”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2013

My wife and I decided to take a quick trip to Kauai. We had never stayed in Poipu Kai or worked with Suite Paradise. Melia recommended Manualoha #102 to us. What a special place. Rolling lawn down to the waves breaking on Brenecke Beach. Cocktails and sunsets on the ground floor lanai were great. Thank you for special experience.

“We were cured of our hearts and the bodies by Poipu's wind and b”

Manualoha 102 in Poipu Kai Resort is excellent and very cute condo. The Shipwreck Beach is looked at the entrance of condo. The comfortable breeze blows through the rooms. The charming water pool is located at next door and we look the pacific ocean beyond the pretty garden on the poolside. Here is a true and certain cure place for human.

“Relaxing ...”

Poipu was a nice place to be on the island. The beaches outside the condo were great. We enjoyed seeing (for the first time) the endangued Monk Seal sleeping on the beach.
