“Our 4th stay at Suites Paradise , We love it !”
The service at Suites Paradise has been excellent every time. They managed to find us this unit at short notice. The management, maintenance, housekeeping & grounds crew always greet you with a smile. We had an issue with wifi the 1st morning we were there & maintenance was there to fix it promptly. The unit is central to shipwreck beach & walking trail & poipu beach area which suited us fine, as we enjoy both. The unit is clean & well furnished & stocked. the pool is just below the unit. The only recommendation I have is for the owner/management to do some repairs on the outside deck. There is a hole on one end of the deck that needs attention.
Response from the manager Aloha and Mahalo for your feedback, we are glad to hear about your experience with Suite Paradise , we will let the association know about the outside deck. Thank you again for choosing Suite Paradise Mahalo!
Loved our stay, the unit was close to Hyatt (walking) so we could attend meetings there. I did not check to see if unit had AC (does not) which meant we needed to keep windows open and the roosters start crowing at about 3am which made it difficult to sleep.
Response from the manager Aloha and thank you for your feedback, as you know not all the accommodations in Kauai has AC but since July 2016 we got the approval from the association to install portable AC , we are up to 30 condos equipped with portable AC.Please for your next stay mention to our reservation staff that you need an AC and we will accommodade at no extra charge. We hope to see you again soon, Mahalo!
“Definitely not extra deluxe”
We were very much looking forward to a spectacular 2 week stay at Poipu Kai and while the resort is lovely, the condo definitely needs some work. The decor is mid-80s and frankly shabby. While new ceiling fans and carpet have been installed, the kitchen and bathrooms were old. The shower and tub had mildew and rust, the cabinets had lost their finish, the stove and dishwasher were old and rusty. The sliding mirrored door in the bedroom had a large crack, the lampshades had water marks, the ceiling lights had rust and bugs, and their was no WiFi - just plug in internet (no good for iPads). Kitchen utensils are old (handle falling off the frying pan, very old wooden salad bowls having been put in the DW too often). There are many nicely updated units in this complex. This is not one of them.
Response from the manager Aloha Dale, This review appears to be a duplicate of the one that is written above it. Please refer to that review for Suite Paradise's response. Thank you for submitting your thoughts. Sincerely, Liz Parisi email@example.com
“Wish we could have stayed longer!”
We found a good rate on line for a two day stay on Kauii. Having a condo with two bedrooms was perfect. Each division of the area includes its own pool. Our only disappointment was not finding the resort pool which included a hot tub. Good location for traveling each coast.
“Comfortable accommodations, well-appointed, great view!”
We were impressed by how well equipped our unit was - including clothes washer, dryer - and detergent! The kitchen had everything that was needed, and there were even books on a shelf in the wet bar. The view from our living room was great. And when we requested a special bathroom convenience, the administration had it on hand. Thank you.
“Enjoyable but needs updates”
I enjoyed my stay overall but place smelt musty. The bathroom tub and shower was in rough shape. Did like that they had a closet packed with things we could use, tennis rackets, cooler, snokel stuff. Big rental unit. Great views. Over all not bad.
“Beyond Our Expectations!”
My daughter and I could not have been more pleased with our condo! It was much more spacious than we envisioned...with a lovely garden view overlooking the lovely pool and access to the beautiful beach as well as the elegant Grand Hyatt, where we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace most mornings. We will definitely return and request the same condo. Kauai is paradise!
“spacious condo but not the best location”
The condo is quiet and reasonably comfortable, though there are many things that don't work (shower won't close, sliding door sticks, kitchen light buzzes). It has not been updated in a long time. Still, it had plenty of space and the essentials. However, it is a long walk from the beach and there is no sunny patio to sit on - it faces shady north all day long. The nearest beach, Brennecke's, is super crowded with boogie boarders and not a good swimming beach. The swimming pool right next to the condo is empty but pretty cold (unheated). It costs $10/person/day to play tennis. I would not stay in this complex again as it is too far from the kind of beach that I enjoy. We went to Kiahuna's beach every day by car to enjoy a better beach, and next time we will book far enough in advance to stay at Kiahuna.
