“Paradice found”

Reviewed 9 Apr 2014

Excellent service in all aspects of this rental from Sweet Paradise! The property was a good fit for us with a great kitchen and amenities. The location was perfect for us! Close to beech and pool location. The best part of the unit was the location in southern Kauai and the proximity to the ocean. We have no negative comments.

“Great views - Great Location”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2014

A very nice unit with a great view. Very convenient to Poipu Beach and Brenneke Beach. Very nice pool. The condo unit was room, bright and generally well decorated. There were some issues you would not expect for a luxury unit. The built in micro-wave was out and a hole in the wall not attractive. Suite Paradise did put the non working microwave back to cover the whole but never did replace it in our two weeks there. There was a loaner microwave not of good quality and took up room on the counter top. The dishwasher had issues and that was replaced while we were there. The kitchen was not well equipped and many of the utensils and items were of low quality. The drawers in the chest of drawers in the master bedroom wanted to fall out when you used them. The umbrella on the upper deck was broken and not replaced or fixed while we were there. Initial cleaning could have been better and we had to replace several burnt out light bulbs. Suite Paradise was generally responsive to these issues. Nelson with maintenance was outstanding. We would stay at the unit again with the expectation the items mentioned would have been addressed and fixed.

Response from the manager Aloha J. Cook, It does sound as if you had a bright and nicely decorated beach condo complete with a fabulous view. We can see why you would want to stay here again. We're glad to hear that the housekeeping and maintenance departments at Suite Paradise were so responsive to your needs including providing you with a loaner microwave and replacing the light bulbs. We apologize for these inconveniences. Replacing equipment in a condo on a remote island like Kauai does take quite awhile. Most of these items need to be shipped from the mainland first on a ship to Oahu and then on a barge to Kauai. This process can take up to 6 or more weeks. Rest assured that prior to your next visit, the items you mentioned will be addressed by our dedicated staff at Suite Paradise. Sincerely, Liz Parisi manager@suite-paradise.com

“What a view!! But hot!!”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2013

We were upgraded to this unit after the unit we had reserved was sold-this happened two months before we were to arrive!! This was very distressing and I was not happy with Suite Paradise at all. The unit I had chosen was in the #1 rental area(Poipu Kapili-we drove by...beautiful!!) The subsequent replacement units they offered were unacceptable and they finally came up with this one. It was a lovely unit, with the living area upstairs and the bedrooms on the (lower) level you walk in. ( I thought this a bit weird until I saw the view and realized they were capitalizing on this.) however we could never use the upstairs because it was like an oven! It must have been well over 90 degrees! We never sat upstairs!! We did eat breakfast early on the balcony and enjoyed spinner dolphins in the bay every morning. We requested fans (which they provided), but they did nothing at all. The bedrooms were very warm as well, but more tolerable. Apparently the lack of trade winds are to blame, but be warned! The kitchen is well stocked, the unit was pretty clean and the bed very comfortable(I am picky about beds). The location is prime, the small pool steps away and the grounds well kept and gorgeous. The beach that was close was small, but others were easily walkable. To summarize-always ask if the unit is for sale before you rent from this company!! While they gave great service after arrival, I feel this was unacceptable. If you are considering this unit-it is quite lovely, beautifully updated and conveniently located to many amenities. But it is hot when there are no winds(summer??) I would probably not rent this unit again because it gets constant sun and the risk of the heat is too great for comfort.

“Best Trip of our life!!!”

We couldn't be happier with accommodations. They condo was great the grounds were amazing and overall a great experience. We especially enjoyed the way the condo was laid out, with the bedrooms being on opposite sites of building really gave our party the privacy we needed. Just overall a great place and I will defiantly rent it again.

“Loved it!”

Great unit in a great location. We could have breakfast on the deck and watch the waves crash on Poipu Beach, walk to the tennis courts, walk to Kalapaki Joe's for lunch, take the paved trail down to Shipwreck Beach, and the unpaved trail on for miles more. Really a great place at a great price!

“Another amazing vacation”

Once again we stayed with Suite paradise and had wonderful accommodations. This unit was perfectly situated for the beach and had a superb view. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped. Loved it!

“Spacious, convenient location with great amenities.”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2012

We had a great experience. The grounds and location to the beach were ideal. The view from the condo was nice. The pool for this building had a gorgeous view. The condo was well appointed and spacious. Like any other condo or hotel, we could hear the neighbors very easily. The second bedroom window slats/blinds rattled noisily in the frequent breeze.

“7 Nights in Paradise”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2012

Our families stay in Kauai at Poipu was amazing - the accommodations could not have been better - the beds were comfortable, the furniture modern and easy to hang out in and the views from the Lanai were better than we expected. The appliances were all modern, the gas grills close by on the lawn were easily accessible and the pool just a few steps away was also a real treat after hanging out in the ocean - also just a few minutes walk from our door. Tv, bathroom, stereo, fans - you name it and it gets high ratings. It was easy to book and check in and easy to check out - the views of the ocean and the stars at night were the best - great meals with our friends and drinks from the blender were quite tasty! Monk Seals and turtles on the beach every day, great snorkeling and wonderful walks down to shipwrecks beach were highlights. The only bummer was that there was a fee to play tennis - it is listed as an activity same as swimming which was of course free and I did not see why they charged this fee

“Another Relaxing Stay in Paradise”

Reviewed 24 May 2012

Our one week family vacation at Poipu was refreshing and wonderful. Our unit (Man205) was amazing with tastefully planned amenities backed by the great service by Suite Paradise. Our February 2012 stay was our fourth and we have already booked for two weeks in 2013.

“noise from adjacent unit”

Reviewed 12 Jan 2012

A family -parents and two children-split up. The parents were on one side of the building and the children teenagers were adjacent to us. They ran TV 24/7 which we could hear through our bedroom wall. I wore ear plugs to sleep at night. Not your ideal tropical experience!
