- Very Good
Good floor plan, nice garden view, Suite Paradise was excellent in helping with minor issues (hot water heater went out and it was fixed immediately.
Response from the manager Aloha Martin, Thank you so much for your feedback,we glad to hear our team was helpful and made your stay confortable . we hope to see you again soon. Mahalo!
“Great place and location for a good price”
Very spacious and well equipped. Huge green lawn as the backyard, flowers and birds... Few minutes from the Poipu Beach. And not to mention a bottle of the welcome white wine in the fridge - was a pleasant surprise! It was just good. Big thanks to the owners and caretakers! (I must say the pictures undersell it. Invite a good photographer!)
“Personable humans considerately manage bookings and problems in”
This is the 3rd year we have booked a condo through Suite Paradise and each time, our condo has been pleasant and clean. We've thoroughly enjoyed the Po'ipu Kai Tennis Club located within the grounds, and afterward, the hot tub and pools. Whenever a problem came up, the Suite Paradise desk personnel, Elsie and Dee, solved the problems in a friendly, smooth way. This unit, Kahala 912, is away from the more frequently used walks and therefore pretty private. The landscaping around it is beautiful, including two big monkey pod trees that arch over the walks. The Kahala pool area is lovely, and it is a short walk to the hot tub and larger pool use, and of course, the tennis club with its low fees, many round robins, excellent staff and friendly inclusive tennis members. The only drawbacks I can think of are #1) you can hear traffic noise when sitting on the lanai, and sometimes inside, but it doesn't keep one awake, and would probably lull a person from a city to sleep, but we are from rural Maine. #2) I wish there were some boogie boards to use,, #3) Where is the compost pile for fruit/vegetable remains? Or are bags of trash going to be used to make landfill to enlarge the island, like what Boston, Massachusetts did?
Response from the manager Aloha tennis player, Suite Paradise manages many beach condos in Poipu Beach, some of which are more closely located to one of our country roads and others that are not. The owners of each condo are the ones that equip their property. Some of our owners choose to include beach equipment with their rental, others do not. However, our front desk is available every day to help you access any boogie boards etc. that you might wish to use during your stay. In Kauai, our trash is regularly picked up by our county services. It is transported to designated landfills on the island. We also do quite a bit of recycling on Kauai, and have a number of centers for this purpose. On your next visit to Poipu Beach, you might want to select a preassigned beach resort. These cost a little more because they often leave a gap in our inventory and accommodation assignments, but you would then be able to select and guarantee the exact location of your next vacation home. “home away from home”
This lovely condo was much more spacious and comfortable than I'd expected. There is a second room that is just used as a large closet. It really was a close walk to main pool and not far to beach. Grounds are lovely. The bbq in the back was shared with units nearby, but it was still very private as well as quiet. Near road but never heard traffic, nor roosters. It was well equipped for cooking all meals, and came with basic supplies and more than just one night of all the basics - enough detergent, soap, tp and other supplies for a week. Very clean. Location is great, but for more than a few days it would be helpful to have a car. I paid to get ground floor, but the entry was up some stairs, with no railing, so maybe not the best if you have mobility issues.
Response from the manager Aloha Lela26, Suite Paradise manages a sizable inventory of beach resorts in Poipu Beach. They all have different layouts and designs. Some of these condos, even when located on the bottom floor, can have a few steps. In making your next reservation, we encourage you to speak personally with one of our reservationists who can provide you with a more comprehensive description of each of our villas. They can also answer any questions or address any concerns you might have. It's wonderful to hear that you loved your spacious and comfortable condo and we, at Suite Paradise, hope to be of service to you in the future as you plan your next trip to lovely Kauai. Sincerely, Liz Parisi email@example.com
“Easy, pleasant, affordable and a wonderful tennis vacation.”
Kahala 912 has a lanai that is somewhat private on the ground floor so one of us could walk out on to the grounds for a stroll without having to fuss with the key and the stairs etc. The location is close to the road, but that didn't bother us. One day we got to see a wonderful parade of many islanders protesting Gmos. Because Kahala is part of Poi'pu Kai, we could join the Poi'pu Kai Tennis Club, which is the best tennis club in the us, I'm sure. We were able to play every day either with Round Robins or in clinics with the resident tennis pros, Hattie and John Somerville, who are not only jewels of tennis experience and advice, but have the most wonderful tennis stories, which I must come back next year to hear more of! Besides, my tennis is so much better, though I learned so much that it has taken a while to put it all into action. Kahala 912 is a short stroll down to the tennis court. You can run back to the condo if you forget something. I liked the way the kitchen had everything you would need, except for a lemon squeezer, without being crowded. I like the arrangement of the condos.
“Satisfactory, with reservations”
Overall acceptable, but the internet was fickle, the plumbing rather creaky in need of an upgrade and the clothes drier most unsatisfactory - basically not drying the clothes as the heat did not come on. The one large plate on the stove did not work. The office staff were always courteous and helpful but we did not want repairmen in the condo unless really necessary.
“An enjoyable, comfortable and relaxed getaway.”
We spent 23 nights in Kahala912, our second trip back to Kauai in 7 months for the same duration. Suite Paradise has provided excellent service in looking after our needs. The rental unit was large, comfortable and very clean. This time we had a ground floor with walkout patio. The view wasn't as good as Kahala 422 but the gardens surrounding the patio made you feel like you were in a botanical garden. The pool was a short minute walk away and the ocean only about 5 minutes. We particularly enjoyed Bbq'g most nights and the ground level unit made it very convenient. The weather was perfect - very little rain - and the ocean temperature was "walk in". We had a great time and look forward to returning in 2013.
“Suite Paradise is awesome!”
Suite paradise has been an excellent option since my first trip to Kauai in 2009. The accomidations are very wonderful, and guest services (Tom) has always provided excellent customer service! The Kahala suites are wonderful and close to everything! Traveling to Kauai to run The Kauai Marathon in September has become a annual tradition for me and I hope to continue to have a great place to stay at the Suite Paradise! Thank you to all the staff for being kind and sharing your aloha spirit!
The location was the best thing about this condo. The complex was ok but a little rough around the edges. The pool by our unit was stark with a concrete wall and so it was not that nice to sit by the pool. We were in a ground floor unit and the noise from upstairs go old fast. The best part was an easy walk to a couple nice beaches.
“Our condo was clean, comfortable and quiet.”
The condo is older but very serviceable and larger than newer condos. Very efficient floor plan with a washer/dryer in the room. The kitchen has all the equipment and utensils for home cooking. The double bath sinks were a nice touch. The setting is peaceful and quiet. There were several occasions of annoying noise from the unit above us. The children in the unit above us were jumping up and down. This indicates the condos have not been constructed with good noise insulation between floors. The ample windows made it easy to enjoy the beautiful landscaping.
