“perfect rental for a small family”
We loved our stay at Paradise Suites, very comfy and we felt at home. Close to the ocean and the lower pool had an incredible view. The only thing that bothered me was the shower head in the master bath. It needs to be replaced. Other than that, we will be back.
Response from the manager Aloha TripAdvisor Member, Thank you for your suggestion about the shower head. I will share your comment with our maintenance department who works diligently to keep our guests comfortable. We, at Suite Paradise, are delighted to hear that your beach resort was so comfy that it felt like home to you. We encourage you to come back and enjoy your beach resort in paradise again in the near future. Sincerely, Liz Parisi firstname.lastname@example.org
Even though this condominum was more expensive than the condo’s we have rented in the past through Suite Paradise in Poipu, we chose the Manualoha 304 because of its proximity to the small pool at the south end of the Suite Paradise condominiums at Poipu. Only those who rent in the Manualoha condominiums have access to that pool. In the past we have rented in the Kahala condominiums. Most recently (spring 2014) the condominium we rented, which was fabulous by comparison to Manualoha 304. The furnishings we nicer, the condo came equipped with two beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach toys. By comparison Manualoha 304 had one beach chair and the furnishing looked like they could use an upgrade or at the very least a good deep cleaning. Although it was quite a bit warmer during our stay in Manualoha 304 (which has a south facing living area) it was equipped with several fans, which helped cool the condominium at night. The kitchen was well equipped and one other benefit was that parking was very close. On the whole, if we return it will likely rent one of the Kahala units next time.
Response from the manager Aloha TripAdvisor Member, We, at Suite Paradise, are always happy to hear from one of our satisfied, return guests. As you know we have a large inventory of beach villas in Poipu Beach. Some of these condos are decorated in a more modern, updated style while others reflect a vintage Hawaiian era that is meant to provide you with the feeling of living on a island in the middle of the Pacific. Our reservation department staff is readily available to assist you with the selection of a beach villa that will best suit your taste on your next vacation in Kauai. Simply give us a call and our reservation staff will be happy to direct you toward a condo that you will love. Sincerely, Liz Parisi email@example.com
“The Perfect Family Vacation Rental”
We could not have asked for more relaxing and enjoyable accommodations for our family of 4. The loft space was perfect for our 4 and 6 year old. It was an easy walk to Poipu beach for snorkeling and swimming. We were happy to find boogie boards and beach gear in the front closet. There were plenty of towels and linens including beach towels. Everything was clean and recently updated with a fully equipped kitchen. The condo was stocked with pretty much everything we needed even laundry detergent, dish soap, and dish detergent and and toiletries. We loved that the kids could run outside in the grass to play and enjoyed breakfast on the upper lanai with an ocean view. We will definitely be back!!
“A Paradise in Paradise”
We recently had the pleasure of staying in Unit / apt# 304 (Manualoha) - in Poipu Kai, for week and had a very pleasant, comfortable, and a better than expected (and we know Poipu area and accordingly, expected a lot) stay in the condo and its environs. This is a review of our experience in the condo (our first time in it. The Kauai island is known to be a 'paradise and a garden island', but then layer on it the Condo we stayed in and the experience was a 'paradise place (the condo) in a paradise locale (Poipu Kai) and a paradise isle (Kauai) of course'. The unit was most comfortable, could easily sleep four (given a full twin-bedded bedroom in the upper level / loft) or six if one wants to use the queen sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen did more for me than I expected - it had all the utensils / pots & pans/ wine glasses, flatware, dishes etc , that I needed. The layout was an easy place to cook. In addition - we found the living room and dining area spacious for our needs. The most distinguishing highlights of our place were the setting and layout of the Condo: it was an end unit that was oriented north (did not need to pull down the shades) and west with the late afternoon setting sun views. One of our special treat was the patio outside the living room (facing west) with a semi secluded lawn and landscaping that attracted birds. The good sized Lanai with a table and chairs off the bedroom loft upstairs was an asset for late afternoon - sunset and a partial view of the ocean. The two full bathrooms, the main bedroom, the upstairs bedroom and the condo in general were very comfortable with good beds, great closets and storage space. We were very happy to be there and spend a week in a very nice and 'precious' accommodation - with a great location - a five minute walk to the best beach (quiet and safe) in Kauai,in a very desirable part of the island. We'll be delighted to be there again and recommend it to our friends who may be visiting Kauai.
“Perfect location, clean, and cozy.”
Tenth trip to Hawaii and our first to stay in a condo. We loved having the two lanais, one upstairs and one just off the living room. Kitchen recently redone with nice granite. Five minute walk to great boogie boarding at Brenneckes and great snorkeling at Poipu Beach park. Suite Paradise was so easy to work with...great communication before, during, and after our trip. We are already getting ready to book again with them for next year.
Nice condo with lots of space and close to the beach.
“Best vacations ever!!”
We lived at Manualoa for over two glorious weeks!! I say lived because we were as comfortable there as we are at home...except we woke up to the sound of the surf, enjoyed our quiet morning cup of coffee in our lush garden setting, and went for a delightful walk to the ocean just steps away from our condo. The monk seals sleeping on the beach looked as relaxed as we felt. I wish we could do this at least every year!! Fantastic!!
We've stayed perhaps 6 or 7 times in various parts of Manualoha, but this was the first time in a "garden view" unit. We had been on Kauai for a week at a timeshare and just wanted a few extra days at a reasonable price in the Poipu area. This is a one bedroom with a loft, a balcony from the loft bedroom, and a garden lanai on the main floor. We had forgotten how spacious and well appointed the 1-bedrooms plus loft are. We especially enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the balcony where we actually had a bit of an ocean view. We'd save the bucks from now on and take the garden-view units if they are in the first 4 or 5 buildings. We've always appreciated the nice kitchens here and M304 was no exception. It's close proxity to the Manualoha pool is also a plus. We've liked this pool because of the ocean view, spacious grass area with some trees, and bathroom. Now the minuses: The pool use to have ample good-quality chairs and loungers so except on the busiest summer day, there was plenty of seating. Seems like they've dumped the chairs that were going bad and not replaced them. The bathroom could use some paint and a little bleach too, but the pool itself is still terrific. A few local kids and once some kids of an employee jumped the fence and made things a bit uncomfortable for awhile. The locked gate is very heavy and has heavy springs, which a number of older folks had trouble with. The other minus is that although M304 seemed clean, the area by the floor molding really wasn't as clean as it should be. Really wasn't very pleasant when I dropped something by the window. That being said, the unit was a value and "clean enough," but could be cleaner. A few more chairs by the pool and we're back to the Manualoha we've enjoyed for 10 years.
