“Convenient, close to town, kitchen well-stocked, bunk beds awful”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2014

Very close to town. Easy to get to everything. Well-stocked kitchen. Bathrooms nice. Book with trails was helpful. The floor fan was GREAT as it was hot and no AC. TV in living room hard to operate with DVD. Need to leave instructions. Bunk beds downstairs are awful and meant for toddlers. "Railings" are metal and even with mattresses(not a safety rail) and can't sit on. Very uncomfortable. Tall 19 yo twins ended up sleeping together in queen bed and others slept on couch after the first night. Rug in living room needs to be replaced as it won't stay flat. We all kept tripping on it. Hot tub was great!

Response from the manager Dear Recent Gust: Thank you for your review of One Breckenridge Place #36! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. I have shared your review with the Owner to note the need to replace the bunk beds or upgrade them to be able to accommodate all guests, not just very young ones – thank you for noting! The rug replacement is another great item that I have brought to their attention and in the meantime we will see if Operations can tape it down, as well as follow up on the instructions for the DVD. Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge! Sincerely, V. Peyton Rogers Director of Sales Great Western Lodging Peyton@gwlodging.com

“Home away from home”

Reviewed 6 Feb 2014

As soon as you walk into the condo you feel like you are at home. The decor is well appointed, and has a cozy warm feeling with all the amenities of home. This unit is private and quiet. Loved the hot tub on the deck. The master suite was very comfortable, including the bed. The kitchen was well stocked and immaculate. We were a party of 8 for a mother/daughter ski trip, and there was plenty of room for all to spread out and be comfortable. The condo is well located with a short walk to Main St and Peak 9 lift. We rented a locker for our boots and a locker for our skis at the base, so we did not have to walk over with our equipment. The only down side is, if you do not have a car, grocery shopping is a bus ride away, with a long route back.

“Great Place!”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2014

Stayed here with a large group of friends a few weeks ago. We had an absolute blast! Condo is just like the pictures. Everything was clean and in order when we arrived. Kitchen is well stocked with supplies for cooking and condo is stocked with basics from toilet paper and soap to trash bags and paper towels. Only things we wished we had were a speaker to play music from our phones (so you may want to bring one) and a deck of cards, which we bought and subsequently donated (your welcome lol). Condo is in the perfect location especially if you have any beginners in your group as it is a short walk to the peak 9 lifts which is where the most green runs are. It is also easy to get to the other peaks from peak 9 if you are more of an advanced skier. We also went out in town and it is within walking distance to a lot of bars/restaurants. The bunk beds are a little small, but our group didn't really mind.

“Family Fun”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2013

My family of 7 goes to the mountains every summer and we have found Breckenridge to be one of our favorite spots. We have stayed at One Breckenridge Place several times and love the location. It is very easy to walk to town. We loved this unit because the hot tub deck backed up to the woods and it was really close to the pool area. I cooked dinner every night and really enjoyed cooking in this kitchen. It is very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes. I would recommend only children sleeping on the bunk beds, as it is not so comfortable for adults. Also, if parking a vehicle outside the garage, beware of the tree that drips a lot of sap. Checking in is super easy, fast and friendly! We will be back next summer!

“Great location and comfy condo”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2013

Chose One Breck due to advertised proximity to Kids Ski School -- definitely within walking distance, though we often parked in the Village underground garage. Condo was nicely decorated in Western style. Loved the hot tub. Two families with four kids total fit easily and comfortably. Only change I would like to see would be a wood-burning fireplace. Highly recommend this one

“Very nice-good location.”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2012

Great Western Lodging was very convenient and helpful. The home was clean, updated and comfortable overall. We travelled with two families and the lay-out was not exactly ideal. One of the master suites was very small and downstairs next to the children's room. The downstairs was very cold and did not retain heat well. Upstairs was extremely hot. It was very difficult to regulate the temperature to make both levels comfortable. Walking distance to the Maggie and Ski school convenient.

Response from the manager Dear Flordia Skiers – Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. I have forwarded the details on to our maintenance department to look into the heating situation and to make sure the air vents are closed to keep the heat downstairs. Thank you again for the information on One Breckenridge Place #36 and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge! Sincerely, V. “Outstanding Service...Outstanding Condo”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2011

Perfect place for family vacation. tons of room in condo to spread out - back door leads right to community pool area. private hot tub on deck. Upgraded furnishings/decor...only thing better than the condo was the service we received from Great Western Lodging upon check-in!

“Enjoy Breckenridge!”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2011

The unit has been tastefully redecorated, it was very comfortable for all six of us, the location was absolutely perfect to everything we chose to do in Breckenridge, and the pool location was great for the 2 grandchildren. We plan on staying in this unit again in 2012! We have come to Breckenridge every summer for 5 years, & this rental has been our very best!
