“Breckenridge, co”

Reviewed 1 May 2014

It was a pretty unit close to everything, loved the private hot tub and the price was good. would stay again. The manager was excellent to work with, the girl I initially called to book was kind, but the girl who checked me in was rude, because you check in at a different place, I asked where do I go and so it was a problem for her to draw a map for me, never looked me in the face, eye to eye, so that was the poor rating.

Response from the manager Dear Ava: Thank you for your review of Park Avenue Lofts #301! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. I have met with the staff concerning your check-in experience and discussed the importance of eye contact when talking with guests, as well as engaging with guests on assistance with restaurant recommendations, activities, anything that people may have questions about on the Breckenridge area – thank you for noting! Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge! Sincerely, V. Peyton Rogers Director of Sales Great Western Lodging Peyton@gwlodging.com

“Perfect location”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2014

Five nights in Breckenride was an awesome small vacation. The property- Park avenue lofts is not only the perfect location and close to everything of interest (peak nine lift, and main street, ect.), but also very nicely maintained and managed. Gw lodging does an excellent job and are quick to address any questions or special needs. My unit was amazing. Very clean and spacious, with all luxury upgrades and a private hot tub on balcony with mountain views. Fully equiped kitchens and comfortable bedding really make the units a sanctuary to look forward to after a day of adventure. I have stayed here many times and will always try park avenue lofts first before booking any other property in Breck.

“Wonderful week at this very comfortable and accommodating place!”

Reviewed 27 Mar 2014

Loved the hot tub! Every night we all would crowd in and enjoy the night air and sights, including the most beautiful moon, while relaxing our tired muscles after a long day ion slopes. Couldn't have asked for a better place to be - close to slopes, lifts, downtown, and restaurants. Will be back in future for this room and Great Western!

“Perfect Family Getaway”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2013

Our family of 4 stayed in this unit for 3 nights and chose it so we'd be in the middle of town. It was perfect for our needs and honestly have no issues or qualms that would cause me to not recommend it. Two items I would note: * The water pressure/voume isn't sufficient to fill the upstairs master bath jetted tub within 30 minutes. Don't plan on using it. * There is no grill for the condo complex. If you plan on steaks or otherwise, be prepared to create them in the oven or on the stovetop. Those are my only suggestions for making it the perfect site.

Response from the manager Dear Bonedog: Thank you for your review of Park Avenue Lofts #301! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. Maintenance has been notified about the water pressure in the master bath and they will check it out to see what is going on, as it should not take that long to fill up. I have also shared this with the Homeowner Association as they have been researching a location for an on-site grill at Park Avenue Lofts, definitely something they are looking into. Thank you for noting! Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge! Sincerely, V. “Nice little Loft, but too many disappointments”

Reviewed 7 Feb 2013

Park avenue 301 is a nice little loft with good views and in a great location. Unfortunately, it just had too many disappointments for my party of 4. First is that they don't tell you this is a 2 story loft. The Mstr bedroom and bath are upstairs. Last thing my legs feel like doing after long days on the slopes is climbing stairs. For us, the private hotub was a huge draw to this property, however, it was also a huge disappointment. The private hotub is very small and shallow. Very tight squeeze for 4 adults. It is also very shallow, so your chest and shoulders stick out. Not good in 20 degree cold weather! But, the biggest disappointment was the beds. After a hard day on the slopes, you need a very comfortable bed. Both beds in unit 301 are old and firm. No one in my party slept good. The Sofa and two chairs in the living room are worn out. Kitchen is very small. Don't like the ski locker locations. You have to take the elevator down to floor P1, then load skis back into the elevator to go up to 1st floor. I like to review positives as well and this little loft has some good to it as well. The fireplace was very nice and warm. The loft is heated through radiant heat in the floors, so that is always nice. Cozy warm floors! Free Wi-Fi. Washer and dryer in unit was nice. Overall, just average. Unfortunately, the disappointments were big ones.

Response from the manager Dear Chris - I wanted to pass along some updated news on Park Avenue Lofts #301 – the homeowners just this month installed a brand new private hot tub on the deck! We are very excited about this upgraded hot tub to the unit! Thank you for your review and we look forward to your return stay! Sincerely, V. Peyton Rogers Director of Sales Great Western Lodging Peyton@gwlodging.com Dear Chris - Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. I will let the owner know about the beds and the need for new furniture in the living room. I will also let them know about the hot tub being a bit small for a larger sized unit. The good news is that there is now complimentary ski storage right off the Lobby in Park Avenue Lofts! Very convenient service run by the ski shop there on site and free to all guests. Your review of your stay in Park Avenue Lofts #301 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge! Sincerely, V. “Great year for Skiing & Lodging”

Reviewed 23 Jan 2011

Could not have had a better view of mountains and access of sking with kids. Just a few steps to the ski school for the little ones and lifts for the older ones!ha. Walked to rent skis, to get delicious food choices, and certainly for goood shopping. Super location. We all loved the private hot tub out on our own private balcony. Wonderful large bathroom upstairs in master room and plenty of room downstairs w/other bedrm, bath, living and kitchen areas. Loved the whole experience.

“A GREAT Time at Great Western Lodging!”

Reviewed 20 Apr 2010

There were six of us staying at the Park Avenue Lofts and we ALL enjoyed the time there: LOTS of room, the HOT TUB- sooooo relaxing after a day of skiing and the kids had never been in one, and the location was wonderful with 2 kids in tow - right across from the Quicksilver lift and ski school. I liked that the master bedroom was upstairs with its own bath - very roomy and large - and gave us some quiet time away from the little ones, too. VERY sound proof. We have already told several friends where we stayed and highly recommended Great Western Lodging for the perfect place to stay. THANKS so much for making our "1 time a year ski trip" to Colorado so memorable.

“The Perfect Winter Getaway”

Reviewed 9 Mar 2009

The condo was clean, cozy and offered a great view -- especially from the patio/hot tub that overlooked the mountain. We also liked the fact that the kitchen was completely equipped so that we didn't have to eat all of our meals out. The kitchen has everything one needs -- a crockpot, coffee maker, knives, an oven roaster, a toaster -- to prepare three healthy squares a day (and a grocery store less than a mile away has very fresh produce and meats) The location was amazing -- right across the street from the ski lift (a very, very short walk away). It was also a very short walk (1/2 block) to Mainstreet and all of the bars and restaurants downtown. Lastly , it was a short and pleasant drive to several other area ski lifts, i.e., Copper, Keystone, Aspen... My only two gripes are the mattresses were not as soft as I prefer and there was no daily housekeeping services. However, the staff more than made up for that as they were extremely friendly and accomodating in every way possible. I highly recommend your stay at the Park Avenue Lofts.
