“Quaint and comfortable with a great location”
Our trip was fabulous from the confirmation emails prior to arrival, the ease of picking up the keys and welcoming service at Great Western to walking in the door at the loft at 307 Park avenue. It was more than we expected! It was the perfect size for our group and we enjoyed cooking there as much as we did going out. The location was fabulous - close to restaurants and shopping as well as a quick walk over to catch the Quicksilver lift. It was the best of both worlds. We had beautiful weather with new snow every day. The view from the loft was just as spectacular. The loft was so comfortable, it felt like home but the best part was enjoying the hot tub after a long day of skiing. The worst part was that we had to leave and wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much to the owner for sharing their piece of heaven! We would definitely stay there again - and we have stayed in quite a few places in Breckenridge - this is our favorite by far.
The place was great, and the staff was more than helpful. I would elaborate, but I am back home and it is snowing, so time to ski some more... If you haven't make it to Breck in 2014, you are missing out! Get out there, now!
“Amazing trip to Breck”
My wife, brother and sister-in-law all stayed at Park ave 307 last week for 4 nights, and what an amazing vacation it was. From the hot tub to the gas fireplace to the heated tile floor in the bathroom, my family felt like we had a celebrity friend who put us up in their winter retreat. This particular unit would also be good for our kids and maybe we will bring them next time. Although the accommodations were very nice, perhaps the best part was the location. Literally a hop, skip and a jump from the Village and the quicksilver lift, this was perfect for us. Also, it is right around the block from Main street, and so we walked to dinner every night. I highly recommend!
“Extremely clean condo and well equipped kitchen.”
The condo had a wonderful set up. The bathrooms were spacious and well designed. However the remainder of the condo was a bit cramped. The photos on the internet made the condo look spacious and it was not.The condo worked well for 4 quests but would not for 6 quests. The hot tub was a treat. The furniture was up to date and in good conditon. The gas fireplace was fantastic! The location was wonderful being near town and near the lifts. The condo was absolutely emaculate and the kitchen was very well equipped. The condo was quiet which made sleeping easy. Having the washer & dryer in the condo was helpful and both worked very well. The mattress on the first floor bedroom needs replacement. The TV in the second floor bedroom worked poorly but we had little use for it. The rental group office staff was friendly and helpful. However the rental group service worked differently than all my other condo experiences. We did not get a midweek clean or garbage pick-up. They provided initials supplies but we had to walk to the office on the other side of town to replenish supplies(toilet paper, fresh towels, detergent etc). There were several ceiling light bulbs out in various living areas but to be fair we did not call for repair. I am sure they would have replaced them. All and all we all liked the condo but we wondered about the rental group service.
Response from the manager Dear Breck skier - Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. I will definitely let the owner know about the need for the mattress replacement in the first floor bedroom, as well as about the television not working in the master bedroom. I will also follow up with the front office as we are sometimes able to deliver those items to our guests by our maintenance department, so will check to see why we were not able to do that for your stay. Thank you for noting the light bulbs, I will have those replaced immediately. Your review of your stay in Park Avenue Lofts #307 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge! Sincerely, V. “Listen to Pete - Bed's are Terriblel!!”
We just got back from staying at this condo in Breck and I want to warn everyone that their backs will ache after sleeping in these beds. We tried to flip the mattress to get comfort but it didn't help. Also, be sure to bring slippers because the carpet is filthy. I understand it's a rental but new carpet and paint would work wonders in this condo. It wasn't all bad, the hot tub was private, clean and relaxing and the kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities needed (except scissors). The location was great because it's across from Peak 9 and there is also a bus stop located right outside the building. Another thing for the owner to think about is the living room area, the TV is so high up that you strain your neck to watch it. There wasn't a lot of down time to watch TV but that made it more uncomfortable. I suggest a wall mount that swivels out to make it more enjoyable for watching a movie.
Response from the manager Dear Janelle - Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. I will definitely let the owner know about the beds and the need for new mattresses, as well as about the television. In the meantime though, I will alert our operations department about getting the carpets professionally cleaned. “perfect luxury summer location in Breckenridge”
This two-level unit in downtown Breckenridge was quiet, very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The private outdoor spa was in top working order. The location was close to excellent restaurants and shopping. The indoor private garage was convenient. Full kitchen and laundry made this a perfect home away from home. We'd go back any time. p.s. this is a real review!! ;-)
“Alot of Fun”
It was alot of fun and everyone enjoyed themselves. The location was great and the unit was very nice.
“Just kind of tired”
I've stayed here before, but the condo is really showing its age....The sofa was in need to reupholstering, the beds were really old and uncomfortable and the TV was small and not HD - which isn't SUCH a big deal but almost every other lodging place in America has a better TV than 24" and ten years old so it really stuck out. And on a ski trip, you watch some tv at night so it was sort of annoying. I also couldn't get the heat to work in one of the bedrooms so it was always colder in there. The space itself is nice, and the view from the hot tub over the city is good but if you just don't sleep well on the old bed, it's kind of a downer. I don't think I would stay here again unless some of the furnishings are updated.
“Favorite condo! Private and convenient.”
I've stayed in this unit (and a couple others with very similar features in Park Avenue Lofts) a few times, because it's such a nice place and my favorite place to stay in Breckenridge with my family. The private hot tub overlooking town (or the mountain in similar units) is wonderful - this unit has a great new tub! 307 is a well appointed unit that is great for families or two couples, and the convenience is second to none, whether skiing in the Winter or biking and hiking in the Summer.
“Great location, Great Unit.”
This is a great location to stay, right near downtown, and steps away from the Quicksilver Super6 lift. The in unit Hot Tub is a great asset to this unit. It is a great floor layout, with one bedroom on the main floor, and the Master upstairs. Ski lockers and parking are convenient in the lower level and give you a very large place to store skis or boards. The staff at Great Western is great. They will take care of any of your concerns right away. Will always try to stay here when I come to Breckenridge.
