“Our Favorite Resort”

Reviewed 5 Apr 2013

This was the first time staying in cabin #61. Usually stay in Cabin #59. If you have never been to TRR you need to check out these cabins on the river. They are perfect for families and have all the ammenities for us "needy" ones. Great covered decks, and there's nothing like the sound of the river to put you to sleep after a long day. This is one of the nicest Co. resorts you can find.

“Great place to stay”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2012

The cabin on the river was awesome as usual as I have stayed there 4 times. Its great to see and hear the river which is so close to the cabin. If I had a problem or question with anything, the staff at 3 rivers was prompt and informative. I don't know why anyone would not want to go there and stay. Fishing was my primary interest---and this year was the best yet.

“Three Rivers to Choose From”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2011

We enjoyed the air, the water, the setting, and the cabin. We appreciated having our dog with us. The cabin was well-supplied. One problem: the step from the door to the porch is plain dangerous, not wide enough, hard to see well, All four of us fell off of it into the fence on the porch more than once. Please paint it white or rebuild it. Thanks for your friendliness and well-stocked fly shop.

“Peaceful, beautiful, soothing sounds of the Taylor River.”

We stayed in cabin (although it looked more like a boathouse) 61 for two nights, and had a delightful time. We did respond to a promotion for a small cabin and rafting trip, small was not the word for that cabin. (number 7) So we upgraded to the cabin 61 and although we spent more than we were originally intending, we were much happier! Owners/managers, Doug, in particular couldn't have been more helpful. Nice people and nice place.

“We had a wonderful experience!”

We had a wonderful experience and our cabin was so clean with a beautiful view. We will come back. Thank you.

“A perfect setting for four people.”

Very comfortable with ample ammenities. An extra Blanket or two along with a tv screen for viewing vidios would push it to a 5 star rating for sure.

“We will definately be back”

We had a great time. Wish the fire pits weren't so close to trees.

“We go every Year”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2009

Our family has been vacationing at Three Rivers every year for the last 7 years and enjoy every minute. We fish, hike, white water raft and this past year did some horseback riding into the mountains. The location is excellent, putting you just a short drive from any Colorado experience that you are looking for. The people at Three Rivers have always been good to us and remember us from year to year. The cabins are reasonable and very clean, with everything you need furnished. We move in, stock the pantry, and head out to enjoy Colorado. When we get back we can enjoy dinner in our cabin or head over to the Three Rivers Smoke House for a great meal. They offer a great a limited Breakfast menu but everything is well prepared and really good. The fly shop is well supplied and you can get tips on where to go and what to use to catch fish. You can get basic lessons or full day one on one with an experienced guide. Three Rivers is Colorado to us and I'm sure that we will continue to go every year and our kids will probably be taking their kids. We ahev found our favorite vacation spot.

“Three Rivers Resort, Almont, Colorado”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2009

We stayed the 1st weekend in June, in cabin 61, on the Taylor River. I was extremely pleased with the cabin itself, set right on the bank of the river. The lilacs were in bloom as well, so between the smell of the lilacs, the sound of the rushing river and having our own campfire with smoores daily, I was in heaven. It was very clean and had everything you needed to cook all your own meals, should you choose to. They also have a restaurant there, very reasonably priced. There is a complete workable kitchen, full bath (no tub), master queen suite, loft with two double beds, pull out double couch and fireplace. I would highly recommend staying at Three Rivers Resort, the staff was extremely knowledgeable about local fishing spots, hiking and provide horseback riding and white water rafting for an additional fee. We did the whitewater rafting, class 3 rapids, 40 degree Farenheit water, snowed on the way, did get wet, but would do it again. The best part was just being in such beautiful surroundings, with all my family, no TV/electronic distractions, enjoying nature and each others company. I hope you get the opportunity to check it out!

“Heaven on Earth”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2009

Although I had to cut my vacation short due to a sciatic nerve problem, the experience was awesome. It was truly a heaven on earth experience. It would not be fair to single out any one area because ALL areas were wonderful. If our health permits, we plan to rent a lodge for 3 to 4 weeks next summer. I cried all the way home because we had to cut the trip short by 3 days. God Bless all these wonderful people. Kathy & A.J. Aycock
