Description

Winter, spring, summer and fall, there is always something to do and something to fall in love with our Killington vacation rentals, and Bridgewater Country Cottage is no different! Kids will love the rustic sturdy bunk beds and folks just love to relax in front of the fire, cozying up to a good book. There are many downhill and cross country ski opportunities just a short distance away. The Killington Skye-ship Gondola is 6.6 miles away and a 15 minute drive, Pico is another 20 minutes. If you prefer Okemo that's only 20 minutes and for family skiing Suicide Six in Woodstock is about 25 minutes away. Cross Country, no problem. Mountain Meadows X-Country Center is just past the Skyeship or if you prefer the paths less traveled there are snowmobile trails just outside the door. After a day of skiing you say you don't feel like driving, no problem. Walk down a short foot path to the Country Junction Store or to the Long Trail Brewery or stroll down an unpaved road to a delicious dinner at the Corners Inn Restaurant.

Summer vacations are outstanding in this part of Vermont and this house is a short drive to Plymouth Lake State Park on Route 100 where there are canoe, kayak and pedal boat rentals, fishing, a sandy beach for swimming and hiking trails. Pico is loaded with summer action including the Alpine Slide and just across the street is a beautiful section of the Appalachian Trail with a great family hike up the Deer Leap Trail. You want golf; Green Mountain National, Killington, Woodstock CC and the Okemo Valley Golf Club are all within 20-30 minutes.

Spring and Fall are excellent times to stroll through the quaint Village of Woodstock, do some antique shopping or stop at the Bridgewater Mill and try the best pizza this side on NYC at Ramunto's. Leaf peeping opportunities are endless with mountain roads and vistas throughout the area. Or just sit on the deck in the Adirondack chairs sipping your favorite cocktail and enjoying the hills and views in the back yard.

Whatever your Vermont desires are, the Bridgewater Country Cottage will become a favorite of family and friends!

Parking is limited to 3-4 cars, parking only allowed in front of the house near the front door or in front of the garage.

Pets are considered and if approved a pet fee of $50 per pet will be applied to the reservation.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
