“Great Cabin!”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2013

Kids loved the video game and "man cave." Mom loved the amenities and how clean the property was. We all loved the deck, views, hot tub and fire place. We would all recommend Elk Spring cabins.

“Just what we needed...”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2013 weather, a beautiful view and days of family relaxation. This lovely cabin was a joy to come home to after hiking through our beloved Smokies. Great property management, easy check-in/out and a quirky, fun, spectacularly clean place to stay that's off the beaten track. Most importantly, we have an unfinished billiards tournament still on the boards - to be continued at our next visit!

“Vacation in the Smokies”

Reviewed 22 Jul 2013

I can't say enough about the beauty of the cabin and the view. We decided to hike in the smokies every day, the hot tub at the end of the day with the gorgeous view was amazing! I am very very picky about cleanliness, the hot tub and cabin was immaculate. We stayed for a full week, and it wasn't near long enough, was so sad to leave. We will be back for sure! If you want a gorgeous cabin and view, this is the one for you.

“Highly Recommended Cabin”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2013

The property is very well maintained. It was clean. The directions provided were easy to follow and the physical address was found in both our vehicle’s onboard GPS and our phones’ GPS. The cabin is 7 miles toward Cosby from the Greenbrier entrance to GSMNP. The Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, and small appliances. The cookware is showing its age. All of the nonstick pans were loosing their coating. The gas grill is plumbed to the cabin’s gas supply. There was plenty of grilling utensils. The 3 baths were lightly stocked with TP, half rolls on the holders and no additional rolls. The amount of bath towels and wash cloths would have been fine for fewer guests or a shorter stay. We had 4 adults and one child and stayed for 7 days, it was expected we would have to launder towels. Everyone found the beds comfortable and there was plenty of extra bedding and pillows. The basement game room was a nice activity for a rainy day. The miniature pool table was great; my 7 year old son received his first billiards lesson from his grandfather. The retro video game machine has all the hits from the 1980’s. We did not use the hot tub. The view from the back porch was excellent and had plenty of seating. The lower back porch has a nice porch swing. The fire pit was well stocked with kindling and firewood. This was our fourth stay in a Gatlinburg area cabin; we have also rented multiple times in both Canaan Valley, WV and Hocking Hills, OH. This cabin was the best maintained and has the best views of any we have rented anywhere. If you want to day hike the Greenbrier and Cosby trails of the GSMNP this is the place to stay. You are close to both and still close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had no issues, so contact with the management company was not needed.

Looked just like the pictures, which is rare. Everything was in great condition. Stayed with my wife and another couple, everyone adored it.

“Nice getaway”

We enjoyed our visit there, and i highly recommend it. One issue was that there was so much bees at the balcony, and i think they were even inside the wood.

“mountain memories cabin”

Reviewed 21 Apr 2013

We had a fantastic time at the property. Our only complaint was that it was farther outside the central Gatlinburg area than I expected. We have a 3 year old and the long car rides back and forth to town were a bit taxing on all of us. But, it was extremely peaceful and the view was amazing.

“Beautiful, well-stocked cabin”

Reviewed 1 Apr 2013

We recently spent a week at Mountain Memories. It is a beautiful cabin with an awesome view! The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking our breakfast every morning. The beds were comfortable & the kids loved the arcade game in the basement. Our only complaint was how far out the cabin is located. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or the National Park. If we could have picked the cabin up & moved it 15 minutes closer to town, it would have been perfect!
