“Nice but didn't live up to expectations.”
Carpet was very dirty, shower door came off, light bulbs out, Beds not very comfortable, fire alarm kept beeping. Got new battery, but still beeped. Porches not swept, couches broken down. All in all we had our family with us, and enjoyed being together. Nice cabin just needs some tender loving care.
“Nice but needs Maintenance”
The entire cabin could use a good dusting. The railings on one corner of the deck were rotten completely through. Makes you wonder if the posts may have some rot too. As for handicapped.... There is a nice ramp leading up to the deck level but you have a 6 inch step up into the cabin first floor. You will need a small portable ramp if you are in a wheelchair. The bathroom is very small but manageable but the shower has no handrails or seating for a handicapped person. You will need a small shower seat and be very careful. There is a nice takedown showerhead that worked perfectly. I always carry a ramp and shower seat on vacation so I made it OK. All the amenities upstairs were said to be real nice except for a coating of dust according to the other members of our 4 couple group. I did not have access to the upstairs. DW from Dobson NC

Our stay was so good that we extended it a day. The cabin fit our 14 comfortably ( 6 children 1 baby) with plenty to do and space to spare. I did full scale cooking and brought a few things (griddle etc.) just in case, but the kitchen was well supplied. The few things that could be improved on included, better cleaning of the extra blankets and bedding also the carpets could use a cleaning. It wasn't dirty but it could be improved. This did not spoil our stay, we just adjusted or cleaned it ourselves. "Can't Bear to leave" is a good place to stay. No bears, but our 4 yr. old kept looking. The hot tub was a hit, also the nearby pool with kiddie pool was great. Super location near things, including minutes away from "Food City" but up high enough we felt away from the busy stuff.
“Awesome Cabin!!! I would recommend this to any family.”
If you need space for your family the 3 levels and bathroom on each level is excellent. Everyone has their own space. Kitchen was will stocked with items to cook. Access to the parkway was excellent, not far and still quite. My family and I will try and stay in this cabin again. Thanks!

As always, it is very satisfactory renting thru Aunt Bug's. Will highly recommend their services and will be looking forward to returning to see them soon.
“A Beary Great Cabin with a Top of the Mountain experience!!”
A stay of days and nights which were filled with fun and excitement. A very cozy cabin which made our 2013 family vacation a great one!! I love this cabin which provided eveverything you would need for a home away from home. I would definitely recommend and visit again!!

“Can't Bear to Leave#455”
I arrived an hour later than recommended check-in so I could ensure a smooth check-in but the cabin was not ready. I was told that the prior tenant checked out at 1:30 late and the cabin was not ready but would be ready shortly because the cleaning staff was at the cabin cleaning it and they would let me know. I knew where it was so I rode by and there was not any cleaning staff at the cabin. I was told that it was not ready and I heard the staff discussing that there had been notes on the paperwork since that morning. I am reasonable, but communication is the key to customer service and I don't think that was accomplished in my case. When I arrived at the cabin it was not completely cleaned and there were dirty dishes on the deck and in one of the rooms. My kids found unknown pills on the floor in their room that I disposed of which was alarming; my kids are older so I felt safe with them but someone with small children could have had a very bad situation come from that. The dishwasher was stopped up and water was leaking onto the floor, so I used the app to notify them of the problem. The next day after reporting the problem , I called and the lady that answered the phone was nice and said she had received the issue and would get someone out, once again a simple call to let me know would have been nice since our stuff is in the cabin and it would be nice to be present while the workers were there but that did not happen. We left for dinner and when we returned there was an unknown material splattered all over the sink and our food on the counter, I assume from unclogging the dishwasher, which is great that they fixed the problem but it would have been nice for them to clean up after themselves and protect our food. I had a bad experience and I will not stay with them again. This may be an isolated incident I am not sure but I am not going to find out by staying again. I called twice and left a message but nobody has returned my call.
“Cant Bear To Leave The Smokeys”
Property management company could of been a little more professional upon checking out.Yes everyone may stay an 1-2 hour later but not told we had to leave or the police will make us.Also knowing we may be charged. And knowing that the cabin is vacant that day also. My recently stay at the Cant Bear To Leave Cabin was wonderful. My kids loved everything about the cabin. Just they didnt get to swim. So in the furter we must reserve the indoor pool. But we did enjoy our stay and watching movies. Now the check in and out time i think should have some arrangments to it. Because actully we not getting our money worth. Ok check in at 3pm and getting checked in then traveling to the cabin takes time. Then unpacking and getting situated.The time will be about 5-6pm. Now checking in Friday at 3pm and out Sunday 10am. Check out should at least be at 12noon it still gives the housekeepers enough time to clean.Due to all the rules and fines if not followed.Due to all the attraction around the area. Its just not enough time. Plus having breakfast in the morning at 8-9am. Overall we did love everything about the cabin. Thanks
