“Great Place to enjoy the beach !”
Rental company very good as usual, we have been coming to this location for 5 years - staying on this street for about 25 years.

We had a wondeful time. The kids just wanted to be around 32nd street. Maybe next time. The home was excellent.

“great location beach rental”
We loved the location. Walking distance to shops, markets, restaurants and beach. We would definitely stay at this property again.

“118 28th street”
Came in from Denver, have rented both from property mgmt and private owners. Was told 4 times before my arrival that mgmt would get back to me regarding some q's I had. Never got back to me. Problems to list a few-filthy unusable oven that smoked up house)not a lot of clothing storage and no hangers and few hooks. What storage they have is under bed and under bed was FILTHY with no carpeting so really shows,pullout sink broken,large nail protruding from twin bed cut my daughter's leg, bathroom door difficult to open and close,outlets stripped,no blankets pillows etc for the worst excuse for a foldout I've seen since the 70's,had to take potholders personally to show them to BW they were so filthy, no dish towels either, Very low watt lightbulbs in bedroom- dark as a cave. All fake plants covered in dust. Granite countertops and new tile and tvs don't make up for any of it. I have stayed in 3 bedrooms similar locations and paid over a thousand less and MUCH better accommodations!!! Spoke with property mgmt and helped some, but have tried to call 3 times since my departure and no call back. They were willing to come fix first couple things,but paying for a higher end week a vacationer doesn't want a stranger over every day!
“The War Zone”
This rental house was clean and close to the beach. We had to call maintenance immediately as there were no batteries in the remote controls and more than half of the light bulbs were burnt out. The dishes/silverware/pots/pans/etc. were few and in disarray and some unusable. I will bring some of my own next time. The location is nice as it is close to grocery, shopping, beach, and pier but if quiet and peaceful is what you are looking for, you need to find something else. We were told (at time of check-in) that we were in what's referred to as "the war zone" during 4th of July week. We would have much preferred to have this knowledge ahead of time.
“Great location and amenities!!”
Other than a foul odor in the guest bathroom the house was clean and organized. I appreciated the organization of picking and dropping off keys. I plan on staying next year as well!
We did have to wait for a considerable time after we checked in at your office. When we went to the property, the cleaning people were still there. They had just started cleaning, so we had to wait for an extended time before taking occupance. I did complain to the office and they were helpful & sent a dine out gift card. I would have preferred to occupy the facility in a timely manner.

One problem - only 1 towel rack for 2 bathrooms and it was broken - we reported this on arrival and it was never fixed..........also, no coffee table or end tables in living room
“Overall great place..............and location.”
One problem - I left my curling iron at the property - left 2 phone messages (7/26 & 7/28) at Burr White - no response. Third call (7/28 again)talked with woman (Bonnie?)who said they would check Sat and call me. Called again on 8/4 and spoke with Karen who called me back 8/5 and said they would check on Sat which I said was supposed to happen previous Sat. Karen did call me back on Sat 8/8 to let me know they didn't find it. After being so helpful last year and this year up to this point - I was surprised and annoyed at lack of communication. Perhaps an earlier response would have ended with my getting my possession returned because I am totally certain I left it in the bedroom.

Our cleaners return all items left in the house to our main office, and we do contact the last guest in the house to inquire if the item belongs to them. “We love Newport Beach”
I was born here and the beach calls my name all year so it was great to drive 20 min down the fwy to a wonderful vacation for the whole family. a few disappointments: everything was still dusty. No light in the bathroom til tuesday. Not exactly the beds that were promised. there were supposed to be 3 twins in one room, there were only 2 and a twin mattress in another room which had to be pulled out each night. very flimsy glass round used a table top inside broke. Fortunately no one was seriously hurt. The location was great and the neighbors were all friendly and curteous. Unfortunately my husbands bicycle was stolen out the locked garage.
