“Unit 102 - very comfortable”

Reviewed 2 Sep 2013

Unit 102 was just great. Lots of space, great kitchen. To nitpick the accomodation there were some very nminor issues: One toilet didn't flush properly (just a cistern fault easy to live with) Some of the lights didn't work Would have LOVED to use the BBQ but gas bottle empty. The only major issue with the stay was the fact that we got charged 120 bucks for cleaning which wasn't advertised on where we booked. We left the place pretty much spotless so felt like we were paying a surprise fee for some cleaning contractors to do frankly not much. Several of the units were pretty dusty when we came in so we are obviously not paying for some high service deep clean at the end of our stay. After just 4 nights it seemed pretty steep. Apart from that we were delighted with it.

“Review of Wildwood Lodge”

Reviewed 13 Feb 2013

We booked the accomodation very last minute and everyone involved in the process were very proffestional and helpful. The staff at the Lodge were extremely helpful throughout our stay, even offering to nip to the shop and get us something when we had a little emergency. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable with all the amemnities we needed and the hot tub was lovely. It was also great being so close to Base 2.

“Had A Great Time at Whistler”

Had a very nice stay. The lodging was very clean and close to lifts.

“Wildwood Lodge”

Reviewed 9 Jan 2012

Decent accommodation in a convenient location. Last stayed here about 20 years ago and it is definitely showing its age. But it is clean, comfortable and suited our needs. The kids would have liked the pool to have been open as is the case with several competing properties

“Decent but not great.”

Reviewed 23 Dec 2009

The place was older and the interior needs updating. The beds were decent but both TVs were very small and old. The sheets need updating. The layout was good and the hot tub was also good. The general location for northern whistler was good. The kitchen was well equipped. In general it seemed kinda cheap for the price we paid and we expected more

“Great location.”

Reviewed 15 Feb 2009

Very convenient location, being just a short walk/ski from Blackcomb base. Having a full kitchen is a huge bonus. Amenities are spartan, but you're spending most of the day on the slopes anyways. A shuttle bus stop right in front of the lodge makes travel to the village super easy if you don't feel like walking.

“no hottub available”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2008

Have stayed at the Wildwoods a number of times, because the location is excellant and the pool and huttub are large and spectacular setting. Unfortunately the hottub was under major reno's this trip and also the rooms have become old looking and not all that clean

Response from the manager Hot tub has been totally overhauled.

there were ants in the unit, I didn't have time to tell anybody because I was working but there were massive black ants in the unit, outside & a couple in the bathroom & in the living room. other than that, it was a very pleasant stay
