“Amazing location”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2016

Amazing location wanted to stay forever. Deer were constant visitors as well as squirrels and even a bald eagle. Beach was a bit tricky to get to but wonderful when you got there.

“Views are wonderful, house dated, but worked well for our group”

Reviewed 21 Jun 2016

We rented this house and the adjacent cabin for large family. Many of them were locals, but some of us traveled a long way to be there. This spot gave us travelers an chance to stay together and for our local family members to meet up with us. It was a great spot for us to gather and BBQ together (since we had both houses rented) and not far from a cousins wedding location. The houses were dated, what we called "rustic charm." The lighting was dark in most of the house, but we are easy to please and for the prices of rentals in this area, we were happy. The beds were terrible, but again we were happy. We were happy to wake up each morning with our large family (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc..) and have coffee on the upper deck overlooking the water. It was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed to having the privacy in this fairly quiet neighborhood. We saw a lot of wildlife, even a doe with a twin fawns each morning. Super quiet ,except passing boats and night crickets. The short walk to the beach was more like a steep hilly climb down and up, for sure footed individuals, so if you are looking for beach access and your a little clumsy, you should seek an alternative location. We would stay here again. The property was older, nothing fancy, but appeared to be clean. Booking was easy they worked with us on booking both properties between 2 different parties.

“Great location and view, dated and dirty property.”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2013

Other then dated and dirty you would think in a place that see's as much rain as the north west does, that the parking and path leading to the property would at least be covered in rock as not to be muddy and slick. There were no screens on the windows and this was a problem because the house smelled so musty the windows needed to be open to combat the smell but with the windows open the bugs then had free reign of the house. Allot of small things added up to a subpar experience.

“Beautifully Located Vacation Home”

It's a terrific place for a family gathering, especially the downstairs with its large room and great views. Kitchen could be better stocked, but that's minor. We would stay there again.

“Lovely wooded setting w/a beautiful view!”

Reviewed 26 Jul 2013

We had a large group and rented both the large house and cabin. Great to have the homes share the same property, yet there was total privacy between them. The decks on front of homes both had terrific views. We especially liked watching the freighters and Clipper go by. Access to beach was quick, but a little steep and narrow. Not bad for the average person. Half the beds were in terrible shape, the other half were great. Some maintenance issues w/the large house and there's nothing fancy about these places. Upstairs kitchen was not really functional, which was disappointing! Overall, we had a great stay though and would probably come back again. Property management company was great to work with and properties were very clean.

“waterfront?”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2013

Went to go on the beach (that they had just had a big party on the night before) and was told we couldn't because of the wild life they were trying to save. I understand that but there was a section roped off just for that. So just kind of bummed about that.

“ebb tide lane house”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2012

the rental property was perfectly nice, about on par with what I expect from a rental house. everything was clean, they had good knives (always a plus). It was listed as 4 bedrooms, which may be a strech--it has 3 bedrooms, and 3 living areas with bed/pull out options. The greatest part was the amazing view above the bluff. But I would make sure that visitors know that the path to the beach is pretty treachorous, not great for older folks.

“Great Deck and View - House So-SO”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2012

This is a very interesting house that would work well for larger parties or multiple families. We arrived about 20 minutes earlier than check in to find the housekeeper still there and vacuuming. He was very accomodating and let us in and told us he'd be gone shortly. Before leaving he told us the drain in the bathroom was backed up and he'd called the management company. The management company took care of the drain problem quickly and efficiently. The deck and view were spectacular. Watching the ships on the Admiralty Inlet was the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately other things while not major just weren't so good. 1. The lock on the front door didn't work. You could easily just push the door open from the outside. It took about 20 minutes to figure out that you had to slam the door closed, jiggle the knob until it clicked, lock it from the inside and go out from a different door in the house. 2. As you entered the house there was a downstairs window that was absolutely filled with dead bugs. 3. The dishwasher upstairs was dirty all down the sides and on the top of the dishwasher. 4. There were dead bugs in the window slides and the windows were all dirty. 5. We were told the upstairs stove didn't work and to use the downstairs one. 6. Beach access available but definitely not easy unless you were a kid or a goat. Path was overgrown and not clearly definited. 7. Mattresses average at best. But back to the view -- absolutely wonderful from both the upstairs deck and the downstairs living area. Made up for all the other problems because we had great weather. Not so sure how happy I would have been had the weather been poor. Overall I would give this property 3.5 stars. We are serial remodelers -- this house has great bones. It could be spectacular with a little work and elbow grease.

All was fine with the exception of the front door , where the lock was dysfunctional and the clothes washer was broken......location was ideal and everyone ahd a wonderful time.

Response from the manager Apologies to the renters about the lock. Since has been fixed! Washing machine is also brand new, but had some issues after install and has been resolved.
