“Very Dissatisfied! Condo did not meet my criteria!”

Poor service from Penny Realty! Message below was sent to Penny Realty Mgmt on 11/18/13. On 12/9/13 I still have not received a reply. After a great deal of time & research, I booked a property for my Birthday weekend (11/8 - 11/12) based on the fact that it matched my criteria (Unobstructed ocean/beach view, Not-ground floor, close to waves and ability to hear them at night, near several restaurants & shops). On the day of arrival-Late morning on 11/8 I was contacted & told that the property that I had reserved (& spent hours researching to find) was not available and I would be e-mailed info on another option. Although Deanne Driver did make an effort to find a similar property, none of them fit my criteria and so I felt at this late notice I had no time and no choice but to select the 2691 Ocean Front Walk property. The 2691 Ocean Front Walk property did not offer unobstructed ocean/beach view, it was on the ground floor, not close to waves and far off the beach and since I did not feel safe with the windows open on the ground floor I did not have the ability to hear the waves at night, and it was not near several restaurants & shops. Also, my Friends had booked a property very close to the original property so that we could meet up at local bars/restaurants for my Birthday celebrations. Since I was not close by, this considerably affected those plans. The garage/parking at the 2691 Ocean Front Walk property was very difficult to get in and out of w/my small rental car and during the day on three different occasions different men knocked on the door looking for someone that obviously was not there and added to my stress level and unsafe feeling. Also, volleyball players woke me up every morning. The condo was clean (although wood dining room table had a terrible odor!) and had a nice layout, stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, it did not meet my criteria and Penny Realty did not provide the condo/experience that I signed up/payed for!
