“Loved waking up to the sound of the river and morning sunshine.”

Reviewed 4 Apr 2013

Our unit was bright and clean with a well stocked kitchen. The pool and hot tubs were very enjoyable, especially the warm pool.It is a little walk to the lifts or bus station to Snowmass. The passes to the aspen Club is a major benefit we all enjoyed, a big reason to rent from Frias properties. The furniture in unit is dated, but functional. I was not expected to receive daily maid service, so great surprise to come back to clean condo and fresh towels! I would rent this property again, we are frequent visitors to aspen. Thanks Frias for great service!

“The condo is excellent”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2011

The balcony and deck overlooking the Roaring Fork River is the key attribute of this condo. It was wonderful to return to the condo after an active day outdoors hiking and mountain biking and enjoying reading and drinking limeade on the deck overlooking the river. I plan to rent this condo again. It is great in august.

“Summer aspen stay aug 2010”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2010

The condo was great. This is our 4th repeat visit. We love the location and the quite. The guest passes to the aspen Club were a real treat!

“We love staying in a corner unit at Chateau Roaring Fork!”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2010

We like the corner unit very much so that we can open the windows and hear the water from the river. The service was wonderful, and the unit was nicely furnished! Comfortable bed too!

“Comfortable accommodations for the budget-minded.”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2010

We had a very smooth experience from start to finish. The shuttle van from Aspen airport and checking in at your downtown office went smoothly and everyone was very helpful. It would have been nice to have a local bus schedule with stop locations and times, but we figured that out after a day or two. The Chateau Roaring Fork #29 accommodation was comfortable and the maid service was great. One minor comment: Supplying a small amount of clothes-washing detergent would be helpful because all they had in the market were large boxes. Otherwise, the place was well equipped. Because there was no one checking in for 2 or 3 days after we checked out, your staff allowed us to leave our stuff in the unit while we skied our last day. We appreciate your flexibility and it really made our last day (& trip) enjoyable.

“A Pleasant Experience”

Reviewed 11 Nov 2009

We located Chateau Roaring Fork #29 through the Internet. We have made visits to Colorado for thirty years but this was out first "condo" experience in Aspen. We normally travel during the "off season" so this location was quiet and enjoyable. While there are always issues with an older unit such as this, its close location to downtown with the view and sounds with the Roaring Fork below, more than made up for any frustrations. The unit was clean and comfortable.

“Chateau RF #29”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2009

Wanted Chateau Eau Claire and got RF. Shower head was partially obstructed. I called to get fixed but never was attended to during the stay. The properties are very expensive. At least one musician was practicing and could be heard thought the unit (? Aspen music festival child?). The kitchen is worn and tired. The beds were comfortable.

“great location and setting, needs updating”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2009

The unit fit our needs fairly well. We love the location - so close to everything. And, the setting - the sound of the river and open view to the east. The unit is a standard ski condo and could use more/better lighting. Both bathrooms need more/better lighting and the dining light is too harsh - rheostat does not dim. We were very pleased with Frias. The office manager could not have been more helpful and pleasant! The passes to the Aspen Club are also greatly appreciated.
