Tropical Breeze is a lovely 3 story Jamaican villa rental conveniently located in the heart of the town of Negril. Our prized location is within minutes of the famous 7 mile stretch of white sand beach & the sparkling Caribbean sea. Our cozy, comfortable 8 bedroom villa offers a casual laid back atmosphere where you can relax and unwind, while taking in the splendor of the tropics. Here we invite you to a unique Jamaican experience, away from the crowds of the big hotels, in a home away from home, personalized setting. Let us help you create the memories of a lifetime and cater to your vacation needs in an wonderful tropical setting. Come and taste the exceptional finger licking good food (which you will not get at any resort type place) Listen to the soothing sounds of reggae music and truly experience the culture of Jamaica!!

There are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor, with an outside staircase leading to 4 upper level units. All 8 of the bedrooms in the villa contain an A/C unit, fan, secured in wall safe, flat screen television and cable or DVD player.

There is ample space in the villa to accommodate up to 16 persons making this an excellent economical vacation choice for both small and large families, groups of friends, co-workers, wedding parties or up to 8 couples.

The layout on the main floor features a large, modern, fully equipped kitchen. Our common area or living room has a brand new sectional couch, flat screen television, cable, and wifi. At the front entrance to the villa we have a large front veranda which is the gathering spot and dining area. We have two sets of glass table tops with dining for up to 10 here. If additional space is needed for dining purposes we also have seating for 20 on the lower deck area. No matter where you are dining, you can listen to the relaxing sounds of the flowing water in our newly built water fall.

Our lovely terraced 40 foot pool deck is a sun lovers paradise or a wonderful, scenic area to lounge the day away. Soak up the sun, read, do crosswords or swim laps in our gorgeous, inviting 20 foot swimming pool. There are tables with umbrellas on the pool deck and plenty of lounge chairs for sunning or relaxing. We recently added a bar, built onto the pool deck for serving you poolside beverages or whipping you up some delicious tropical blender drinks. Our huge terraced pool deck makes for a great entertaining area where we can host any kind of function from a pool party, family reunion to a small wedding. (See wedding reception photos )

Just beneath the pool deck on a lower deck area we have an authentic charcoal jerk pan where we do fantastic jerk chicken, grilled lobster or roast fish to name a few. Adjacent to this is a small stage area for hosting live entertainment or a D J for your wedding. We recently added a wonderful water fountain adjoining the pool steps and have provided an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sea salt when coming from the beach or before entering the pool.

A delicious economical meal plan is offered, which is not included in the rates. Meal plans include breakfast and dinner (no lunch, unless requested) Breakfast includes : Coffee, tea, juice and your choice of Jamaican or continental menu. Dinner includes Fresh juices such as lime-aid or pineapple juice with your choice of Jamaican or continental menu.

Getting around

We offer airport transfers from Montego Bay as well as any island tours you may be interested in, can be arranged with our driver, Ranger. Locally in Negril getting around is easy. , Many places are within a short walk of the villa (grocery stores, bank, beach etc) and what isn't within walking distance there are plentiful local taxis running at very reasonable rates. If you wish to have Ranger take you somewhere specific (shopping, Ricks café) we will arrange that as well. We endeavour to make your stay as easy and stress free as possible for you.

Interaction with guest

I am currently the on site manager for Tropical Breeze after retiring from the corporate world. I am available for any questions you may have and offer advice on anything from directions to arranging glass bottom boat tours etc. I live on site and am typically in Jamaica throughout the year with the exception of visiting my family in Canada. Typically myself or Anne will always be on hand to assist and will be here for your arrival and check in with keys etc.. We can offer advise on the best sites to visit (and the ones to avoid!) We have a boat captain on call for glass bottom boat tours to the island or sunset snorkeling cruises, just ask and we can assist with pretty much anything your heart desires whilst on vacation with us!!

Great place for kids with our gorgeous swimming pool, fully gated off.
Twin beds available for sharing with siblings. Smoking allowed outside ONLY. Pets allowed after consultation with owner. Minimum rental age is 21. Damage deposit required. NO NON registered guests allowed to stay over night, additional fees apply. We cater to small weddings, receptions, family reunions and pool parties : events to be hosted onsite will attract an additional fee.

I have tried three times to buy more lounge chairs for up by the pool, so I am resorting to sending them down from Canada as I cannot get any in Jamaica right now.
