An end terraced cottage sleeping four people in two bedrooms, on a rural site between Richmond and Barnard Castle.Willow Cottage is a lovely family base, set on a small rural site with 4 other holiday cottages (3 with Sykes Cottages) and a caravan site, between the market towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond. There is a double room here and also a twin, as well as a shower room. The accommodation here is all on the ground floor, and includes a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside, there is a front patio with furniture, and off road parking. Close to Lightwater Valley theme park, Ripon, Durham and the countryside of the Moors and Dales, Willow Cottage makes a lovely year-round base.

Electric oven, microwave, fridge, access to shared laundry with coin-operated washer and dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Private, enclosed south facing garden with picnic bench/table. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Small shop on site for basics. Shop 3 miles, pub 1.5 miles.

Town: Caldwell is a small linear village half way between the two pretty market towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond. Set in a rural location, Caldwell is ideally suited for anyone wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. The historic centres of Durham and Ripon are within 30 minutes' drive, and the elegant shops of Northallerton are just under an hour away. Jervaulx, Rievaulx and Fountains Abbey are within easy reach, as are the stunning Bowes Museum, High Force Waterfall, Raby Castle, and spectacular countryside walks and scenery. There are numerous country houses to visit and for the complete family day out, Lightwater Valley lies nearby.

Walmart welcome, cottage well equipped, clean and decorated well. Lots to see in the area, some good local pubs with very good meal choices.
