Great wide-open floor plan that was wonderful for our family and pet to enjoy together. Comfy bed and washer and dryer available to wash those sandy clothes and towels. Everything you need is provided: towels, linens, pots & pans, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc. Easy to find, and the ride to the beach access is not too far away.

Liz is great. Very clean and everything you need. Very dog friendly. Will be booking again!!! It is 1/2 mile to the beach (not 4 blocks)and could use A few ceiling fans.

I had a wonderful weekend in Oak Island. The house is spacious, comfortable and has the amenities to make it feel like home. It's located in a quiet neighborhood - 1/2-mile walk to the beach, as well as several restaurants/stores just down the road. I especially enjoyed using the kitchen (the professional stove/oven was a real treat as I love to cook) and coffee on the screened porch. Having a quiet, comfortable living room (great space for working) at the end of a long day and washer/dryer were nice too. I'll definitely plan to come back.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Liz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
