“Amazing Views and amenities!”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2015

Great views....close to park. Quite the drive up the mountain to get to the house....but well worth it! Stocked with everything we needed ....plus some! Had some hot tub issues but was great to have after day hiking in park. Will definitely go back and also reccmmend to friends.

“The Kinney at Windcliff”

Reviewed 15 Sep 2015

We loved our first visit here! You can go right into the national park from here! The house was very nice and the views were simply amazing! We had a grill on the deck and a wonderful jacuzzi to soak in. I give it a 10! We will definitely go again!

“Nice spaces; incredible views!”

This is the second time we've stayed at the Kinney home in Windcliff. If you haven't been to this lovely and secluded neighborhood, you can't imagine the views. The ten-minute drive up from the entrance (across from the YMCA camp) is well worth it. The home itself is well-supplied and roomy. The staff at Windcliff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Although the decor is a bit dated, it's a very comfortable home, and I appreciate that you can bring a pet.

“Great family vacation location”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2013

We notified the office that we would be arriving after hours. Rental information and keys were exactly where they told us they would be. Move in was easy. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean. The view out the front windows were awesome, particularly when the late afternoon thunderstorms moved through. There was plenty of room for 6 adults. The outdoor hot tub was a perfect place to unwind after a long day of hiking. Family dinners were enjoyed around the large dining room table. A great house indoors and out for a family vacation.

The home was wonderful, breath taking views out every window. Plenty of room. Very nice, clean. Loved the hot tub on the deck. Kitchen had everything.

“Home away From Home”

This is the second time that I have stayed at Kinney in Estes Park. I love this house! It has everything you need - all you need to bring are your clothes and personal toiletries. The view of the mountains from the living room and master bedroom is awesome! An extremely comfortable, beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy a vacation! I will return to this home again.

“The Kinney home is the perfect place to stay for a vacation in E”

The Kinney home has absolutely everything needed for a wonderful and relaxing stay in Estes Park. The house is very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook and serve meals. I only had to bring in the groceries. The view of the mountains is awesome from every room. I plan on renting this home again in the near future. I highly recommend this property!

“Great rental, plan on returning”

Stayed for a three day weekend with my girlfriend and we loved Kinney. Way too much space for just the two of us but we booked last minute and were happy to find a non-hotel place with a private hot tub. Finding the house late at night wasn't all that difficult but you get a nice taste of Colorado driving going up the switchbacks. The property is located just outside of Estes Park. It's only about 10-15 minutes to get in to town and most of that is just getting down off of the hill and out of the Windcliff subdivision. We ended up leaving each morning and not returning until later at night partly because we had fun stuff to do each day (went hiking, shopped in town, drove the Trail Ridge Road) and partly because the drive to the house was a mild deterrent against making little trips back during the day. However, don't let that scare you off since the plus side of the house being where it's at is the amazing views you get right out of your bedroom and living room windows. The kitchen was well stocked with basic provisions and we made breakfast one morning, but other than that we ate out for our other meals. If you want to save some money I'd recommend buying food from the market or Safe Way in town so you can prepare your own meals, but go to the house first so you don't buy anything they might already have (previous guests leave non-perishables). The hot tub was awesome, a great way to relax each night. We also used the fireplace and it was nice that there were starter logs, newspaper and chopped firewood all available for us. Just make sure the damper is open (whoops). The house felt secluded and private even though you could have neighbors right next door, we barely saw any of them the entire weekend. Overall 5 stars and I'd highly recommend Windcliff to family and friends.
