My husband and I stayed in the Jordan house for our yearly anniversary trip to Estes Park in September. We love the Windcliff neighborhood and the views from Jordan are stunning. This home had everything we could possibly need while we were there, nicely decorated, incredible views and all of the comforts of home! It had a fully stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, and games for us to play at night while sitting in front of the fireplace when we weren't sitting out on the deck. There is a huge hot tub on the lower level attached to a bedroom, we used it a couple of nights, but for the most part preferred to be on the deck enjoying the complete silence and stars. What we loved most about this home was that it was at the end of the road and adjacent to Rocky Mountain National park. We enjoyed hiking from the home. We love peacefulness and privacy when we go on vacation. Our ONLY negative and likely the reason we will rent a single family home next time is that this home is a duplex and the layout is such that the the neighboring unit has a room above the master bedroom of the Jordan. Luckily there were only 2 nights of our stay that the next door unit was rented because we could hear people walking around above us at 5 am which made it impossible to sleep in, on the nights that the other unit wasn't rented, it was perfect!!!
The only negative I can think of about our stay at the Jordan was it was not long enough. This home is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The mgmt was so nice when we checked in. I can't wait to return.
“Look no further, heaven on earth!”
Look no further, book this house now! It has everything you could want in a rental house and then some. Beautiful furnishings, comfy beds, plush towels, an array of cookware and spices, and that amazing hot tub! We booked this place for a family reunion and had 2 20-somethings, 3 50-somethings and my 87 yo father. All of us were in awe of the house and the view from the great room. I watched the sun rise over the Rockies one morning while having a quiet time and cup of tea. Priceless! We saw mule deer grazing at dusk, birds and chipmunks and heard something we don't hear very often--complete silence. Ah... If you can handle the switchbacks taking you up the steep drive to the house, you will enjoy this amazing place. Far enough from the YMCA camp, but close enough to make a daily trip into town or the Rocky Mtn National park for hiking, riding, pontoon boating--whatever. Our stay was a blessing. We know yours will be, too.
Where to begin? Watching the amazing sunset from your indoor hot tub, or perhaps while sipping wine in your living room. Amazing view of the sunset across the valley cresting over the mountains, great modern amenities, nice beds, couches etc, and a great view from just about every room! Oh and the balcony is pretty stellar as well.
“Our stay at the Jordon House”
We stayed for three nights and it was absolutely fabulous!!! My 2-1/2 year old grandson loved the toy cabinet and the hot tub was wonderful. Loved the scenic mountain views and fully stocked kitchen. We had a great, relaxing family time. Great beds and beautiful furnishings.
Andrew talked to me several times while I was narrowing down the choices of homes to rent - very patient and accommodating. The house has great views, nestled in a peaceful community of mountainside homes. Beds were very comfortable, the indoor hot tub was amazing! Saw a bear, had great food (try the overlook for a great dinner, and the egg and I for breakfast)Interesting places to shop, friendly town and gorgeous surroundings. It didn't hurt that we planned our stay to coincide with the Long's Peak Highland Games! Wonderful stay in Colorado, I would recommend using Windcliff Properties to find a great place to stay.
“Very nice accommodations with a beautiful view.”
The Jordan house was perfect for our stay while on vacation in Estes Park. The house was spacious, clean and provided all our necessities and more. We were there for 7 nights and cooked in 4. The kitchen had so much more than the basics, and made it so convenient to cook in. The view was amazing and very peaceful. It's conveniently located to all the attractions in the area. Would definitely stay there again.
“This was a super place to go to get away and really relax.”
We had a great visit to the Jordan. It was a super place to relax. Because it was near the top of the hill (about 7 minutes of switchback roads), it was very quiet and so peaceful. It was well-equipped with everything we needed. Incredible views from just about every window in the house! The deck was a great place to hang out and enjoy our grilled dinners, sip wine, and watch the sunset. A trail into Rocky Mountain National Park (and leading to Lily Lake) is very easy walking distance from the door, a plus for the hikers/trail runners in our group. We had some difficulty with the TV instructions and hot tub temp---but honestly, there were so many other things to do we didn't get around to reporting those problems until check-out. The office staff was very apologetic and wished they'd known so they could have fixed it for us. All in all, it was just the kind of "time out" we were hoping for. We would certainly go back!
“Rocky Mtn. National Park snowshoe trip”
I've stayed at Windcliff several times before this trip. I am always pleased with the accommodations.
“Fall in the Rockies”
What an amazing home--perched at 9,500 feet with amazing views of the Rockies. Literally 100 yards from a trail leading into Rocky Mt National Park. Wild life everywhere including wild turkeys, deer, elk, coyottes. Great living arrangements with a terrific kitchen. Very quiet and private at night. Nice to be out of Estes Park and all that touristy stuff. Also, because the property is West of Estes Park, there is easy access to Rocky Mt Nat Pk
